  • Tarek has always been someone to look at the glass half full.
From having his Division 1 Scholarship rescinded in his senior year of high school, and almost quitting the game. To going to a Junior college and winning a state title, to then turning that into a D1 scholarship to UC Irvine, where he and his teams would set school records, to today, where he’s now amassed over 180 appearances and a near decade long professional career.
To most, these situations would look like a dead but, to tarek they were opportunities. Opportunities to prove everyone wrong and most of all, opportunities to prove himself right.
You’ll hear all about his inspirational journey throughout this episode.
Once again, you’re listening to the life through sport podcast, my name is Omar Zeenni, enjoy the show.
