Maya, have you thought about a mattress cover for your mattress? It helps keep your mattress clean from stains and dust mites. The transformation of the room is simply Beautiful!
It also helps with allergies.
Yes, I always put a cover on my mattress then sheets on top. Accidents happen and wouldn't want to ruin my good mattress.

Fun fact if you turn the pillow cases inside out, stick your hands all the way inside and grip the edges of the pillows you can flip the case on the pillow making it easier to put them in. (I hope that made sense lol)
