I became enamored with Randy when I was in 1st grade. As a kid you really don’t experience what he’s singing about, you just enjoy his voice and the music. However, the minute you go through what he’s singing about you have a new appreciation for his music and it hits different. I never cheated on my ex but I came close. When she asked me why I sexted the other woman I told her that I just wanted to be validated as a man, to be wanted, that I’m not just the breadwinner. She didn’t buy it. After therapy and talks with very close friends it turns out it’s actually a thing. And that alienation of affection is a thing too. There’s givers and takers in this world. Takers will keep taking and never be satisfied. Hindsight I was legit married to a narcissist. Just didn’t know it until we separated. I thought being with her made me happy. Being without her made me happy. Best of luck to those going through hard times. They won’t last, hang in there.
His ex wife is a horrible person, used the money HE earned to promote some other young man- then she left Randy with little to no money. I will be happy when karma gets around to her. I'd buy his old music, but how much would that evil woman get.
