Now I have some shifter cables in my 97 Saturn with a 5 speed manual. Much more my speed. Best car for an enthusiast. Get liability insurance to cut the cost (and drive well), get one of those so you can have fun with 30+ to the gallon, and get a RWD V8 for some fun while not saving gas. Makes owning any guzzler more acceptable! Only paid 2K for my SC1. Yes I have some weird plans for it.

ah the Civic Type R EP3 one of the most fiery civics ever produced I remember the commercial of that car with F1 engine sounds and the Type R beating all on the track
how much of Eurobeat knowledge you need to have to choose this song over others, and fit the perfect music flow of representing a race, I can even feel the rythm of the cornering and the camera angles over the song
Probably why i really love Initial D stage one is because the music usually fit the race, both the music, sfx, and the scene combined makes it really epic watching experience

Too bad Takumi had to retire the Eight-Six after his battle with Shinji, I would've liked to see where he went from there.
in MF Ghost (sequel to Initial D) it is confirmed that Takumi became a rally driver after the events of Initial D, he trained the protagonist of MF Ghost (Kanata 'Katagiri' Rivington) but unfortunately Takumi got into an accident during a rally race and was forced to retire
I might have a '94 ranger, but it's got the 5-speed paired up to a 2.3 with RWD. Pretty much the same kind of setup in the AE86. With a lightweight rear end drifting is easy.
Mako drives as if it was Tsuchiya that taught her and both are from Usui. Usui is Tsuchiya's home course and there's a video from the 80's of him drifting through C121 on UA-cam.
Even despite the C121 asspull, it's my second favorite race in First Stage. At last it feels like there's actually difficulty for Takumi, no matter how little. With the exception of Ryosuke, Takumi is unbeatable on Akina.
