Sarah, thank you so much for bringing us this priceless concert. I have listened to Englebert for nearly 60 years and he is an important part of my life, especially for the wholesome memories I have from the past. When I served in the Marines during Nam, I would constantly listen to him when I was dating or when I was pulling a lonely guard duty at an ammo dump. Throughout the years his voice was just like gold to me and I would sing his songs when I was alone. I am subscribed to his channel and get to see the man behind the voice. He recently lost his lifelong wife and they were both very faithful to one another. In this concert, I could see how much he missed her and loved her. True love is a powerful thing and even miraculous in some cases. He is a decent Christian man and an entertainer like no other. His life has been driven by love and it comes out when he sings. He truly loves his adoring audience and fans. I shed tears with him at his wife's passing, it touched me so. It stunned him and deeply affected him. He made peace with his grief and decided to entertain once again and not let this solemn event get him down. This concert and others are his effort to love others with a similiar love he had for his wife. I do not recall any singer who has done this before, they often times throw in the hat and go to drink feeling sorry for themselves. Certainly Englebert is not that kind of a man. For me the real loss will happen if anything happens to Englebert. I think I would be inconsolable considering what he has done for me as a singer. His advanced age is no obstacle for him and as far as I am concerned he is a true champion of all singers. I dedicate this comment to Englebert and to the memory of his wife. Thank you Englebert for all you have done for me, things you will never know and like so many others. Again thank you Sarah, I have subscribed and given you the thumbs up ! A friend always !

He's an extremely nice man. I played the piano for a living, for years, and I worked for about a year at the St.Regis Hotel in Detroit. I played in a lounge area where people waited to get their tables, a few steps up, into the restaurant area. My piano music was piped into the restaurant. I often played "After the Lovin'", one of his big hits, so I played it while he was eating dinner. He came out and told me I'd done a fine job on "After the Lovin" and sat down on a couch and had a few drinks. He sang along when I played some old standards. I met his son, Scott, and he gave me tickets for me and my wife for the show the next evening - at the Fisher Theater in Detroit. The show was terrific. Just a very nice man as well as a fine singer and enterainer.
Same with Tom Jones, Johnny Mathis….. they are voices that will never be duplicated… all still singing and sound terrific. We were so blessed to have them and their music in our lives.

So many, many years ago (maybe late '60s or early '70s), I was lucky enough to attend a live rehearsal of the Jerry Lewis TV show on Channel 4 from the old NBC Studios in Burbank, CA. Mr. Humperdinck was the show's featured singer that night. So handsome, relaxed & very talented! He sang/goofed around & had fun singing "Le Bicyclettes du Belsize". He was so damned good with a great sense of 😂 humor, too. I'll always remember that magical afternoon. A great singer who loved his audiences as much as they loved him!

Like Tom Jones, these amazing entertainers are still belting out their gems with the same class as though it were in the 60's! I just started my public singing a couple years ago for assisted living and nursing homes. The old-timers get a big smile and start singing along when I break out their music. Hope I sound this good in 21 years!! Thanks Engelbert and Tom. He is still putting on a show like the early days of Vegas.

I flew to Boston from Detroit to go to another concert of his after the one here on mother's day. In Boston on October was cancelled. I was very disappointed, but unfortunately it happened. Same with Tom Jones, Johnny Mathis….. they are voices that will never be duplicated… all still singing in their 80’s and sound terrific. Tom has been on The Voice and you can hear him singing on that tv program. There is a new video here on UA-cam of Johnny Mathis in concert in July of this year, 2023. We were so blessed to have them and their music in our lives……. And Engelbert was married to his wife of 57 years when she died in 2021, and Tom Jones was still married to his wife for 59 years until her death in 2016. ❤❤❤

Great concert from a magnificent, amazing ,
talented and out this world entertainer. Outstanding!! Great sense of humor. I flew to Boston from Detroit to go to another concert of his after the one here on mother's day. In Boston on October was cancelled. I was very disappointed, but unfortunately it happened. I am enjoying this one now. Thanks. Great job .His concerts are always unforgettable.

Same with Tom Jones, Johnny Mathis….. they are voices that will never be duplicated… all still singing in their 80’s and sound terrific. Tom has been on The Voice and you can hear him singing on that tv program. There is a new video here on UA-cam of Johnny Mathis in concert in July of this year, 2023. We were so blessed to have them and their music in our lives……. And Engelbert was married to his wife of 57 years when she died in 2021, and Tom Jones was still married to his wife for 59 years until her death in 2016. ❤❤❤

So good to see Engelbert going as strong as he is. I'm very happy to have heard a bit of my favourite song by him "Les Bicyclettes De Belsize." I'm also really impressed with his generosity to his band members by showcasing each one's talents. A very cool guy who improves with age!
