Tabatha Ricci did not win. Also I don't hate the sean woodson decision or the trey waters decision, both those fights could have gone either way, but the 30-27s are crazy. pretty awful judging tn IMO

I think when you do the post fight videos like this one you could put into the video whether you and Jacob’s pick was correct or incorrect for each fight and then also which bets you placed (if any) on that particular fight and whether they won or lost.

I had it split decision for Goff bet both sides cuz I wanted out cuz I knew it was up to judges. Luckily the St. Louis fighter parlay hit for me +500
Buckley did drop him multiple times though. Buckley is a problem at the weight class.
If you have been watching this dport since day 1 we judge it differently control time marters when everything else is even same with cage control.
Goff fight was a robbery
Goff did pressure the whole fight but Waters was way more accurate with his counter punches and had by far the better strikes with great Take Down Defense I don’t see how u can say Goff won that fight when Waters didn’t give into Goffs pressure at all just overall looked like Waters was the better fighter I had 2 rounds Waters could possibly give em 3 with a toss up (also Rebecki looked horrible especially in the striking in the later rounds )

After Robelis, I might be done picking these fighters or "prospects" just starting in the UFC with a few fights. I don't care how dominant they were before. I tried with Dumas, Johnny Walker's brother, and Robelis believing the hype, all 3 were let downs. Imma just fade those types of guys. Because you don't know what to expect from them.

Who said wrong? I think control time matters. I’ve been versus consistent with that. I’ve also never seen someone pull out the scoring criteria and show me where it says control time does not matter. It’s a false narrative
@@WeWantPicks It's not that control time i.e position doesn't matter, it's that it only matters if the other criteria (effective striking/grappling and effective aggressiveness) are 100% equal. If a fight is decided based on control time when one of the fighters out damaged the other (which you said you were ok with) then the fight is being judged wrong
No outrage about the Ricci decision because neither fighter did any meaningful damage to the other fighter at any time. That is when you go to the next scoring criteria. It’s honestly not that complicated.
There's a tradeoff between control time and sig strikes NO ONE is sure that refs love ...."not that complicated" so you can explain why 1/10 takedowns and not dealing damage outweighs volume pretty easily right now ?

I thought Pennington won. Ricci did nothing at all with the control time and I’m not one of those damage means everything kind of people. But she just held her there and got dominated on the feet when she wasn’t just holding her there. Few to no clinch strikes… just looked like a much worse fighter honestly.
I also completely disagree with you about Waldo, he won but it was not impressive. It was super boring performance and his last two fights despite being wins did him absolutely no favors.
