Which brings me to how I think this will be implemented I honestly think they're going to be doing either historical campaigns or historical battles for multiplayer, the Nighthawk as a radar cross section of 0.001sm. In comparison the F-16 is 5.010sm (roughly) Radar guided munitions will not get a high fidelity lock at range. Obviously we can still manually guide anti air missiles at it But I'm curious at the elevation this will fly at. and obviously it's infrared signature is greatly reduced minimizing the impact of IR Slingers. so as long as you're using this to drop bombs and turn and burn it should be good

Otherwise, it's going to be a great selling premium for them 😆 Those little doodlybobs on the front of the Night Hawk are sensors for things like airspeed, temperature, etc, not guns 🙂 You were correct about her not having any AA weaponry, her armament was limited to a rather meager, 2 hard point, 5000lb total bomb payload and her only defense was her stealth. She was not particularly fast, wasn't maneuverable, couldn't fly particularly high and had no radar system. She was designed to get in, hit a high value target and get out without being engaged. I don't think she even had flares or chaff. Don't get me wrong, she was a marvel of engineering for her time and a monumental achievement in the field of aircraft design, but even so, much of her success and fame are owed to the fact that she was the first of her kind. No one had any counter to her because nothing like her had ever been built before. Stealth was her defining feature, and she did it impressively well, but in nearly all other regards, she was a very mediocre performing aircraft. Aside from being super neat looking, I have no idea why Gaijin think that she would make a good addition to the vehicle roster.
