The problem is Abyss has too much HP on top of 3 forms. His OP attacks and multiple forms would make sense if he had less health. He isnt crazy tough, just a damage sponge.
I liked Onslaught's kit for this fight. The mind control was free damage, the psycho crusher was a good corner escape tool, the missiles hit both him and the clone, but hyper grab was just free damage for Abyss.
If you have a rare akuma lying around, maybe you should use him? I would love to see what would happen if he fought this abyss. Just a suggestion though.
Was Abyss that strong? Some of these characters would had been able to have some survivability against him and at least get him to his 2nd or 3rd form. But, I guess not?
Suggestion for the next fight: Schlussel-Pre. One version of her has an invincible machine gun super that she can link into itself and goes on for quite a while. Look up her AI fight vs. Tamaki Ako to see what I mean.
Actually man if you pay close attention what makes him fair is exactly his clone. When he duplicates himself the amount of health he takes away from the enemies is way inferior than when he's not cloned.
