Join me in this little chat about Pippa. PIppa is a cute, almost 'grown out' version of Ignite. A chose a color for FAll/Winter that I am hoping I like! Thanks for hanging with me, guys!
My head measurements are:
Circumference: a tad over 21"(a tish over)
Ear to Ear: 12"
Front hairline to nape (just below occipital bone) 12"

I love this wig on you....it looks so good and so real....with the hair down or with the hair pulled up....I mean really! At first I didn't care for the color but when I got used to seeing it compared to the 12FS8....I like it...I agree with some lighter highlights in the front it would be perfect. Yes I see this as a go to work style....I love how you show to get rid of the wig looking front. I didn't know how to make it look like you did in this video....But now, well look out.....thanks again, Jill!
I don't know how you do it! At first look I didn't think I really loved the color on you, but it really is a good color the the fall/winter months. I always go a little darker that time of year too. You styled her beautifully, I'm pretty shy about putting so much product on my wigs, maybe I should be a bit bolder. You really made it work. Thumbs up!

Beautiful fall color. But she's very similar in shape to a lot of your other ones! Perfect length I loved the wig you had on in the beginning.
Oh my I watched this twice,feeling your reluctance...you look wonderful in this wig,love the color way better then the last ashy color...i was loving Kathleen in "pipa"..was considering it too...but now I will never buy it,hate the ear tabs,and neck...you always give such honest reviews...while I think it looked just wonderful on you ...i couldn't get through the issues.
Maybe after a washing she will be a favorite for you...i have trimmed lace front on an older wig..love that I did it..and my widows peak shows a bit but helps with realistic issues.

Yup, I agree with you that this color would be even better with a bit more of the ash blond color highlights, expecially around the face. And Im glad you are posting this because I am wearing this color and not sure if it is right for me either. But I look very washed out in the light blonds, like what you wear, so I am still searching for the right color on me. This helps thank you!

Hi Jill pippa is a cute wig I do like you in lighter blondes it is very natural looking.l've just got my Arrow wig after a bit of a wait OMG it's stunning so beautiful Wright out the box the curl pattern is amazing I'm to old really for long hair but I could wear it up or in a pony with some bits hanging down.The lace front is awesome.I remember you said you might buy it.The cut of Pippa really suits you you always look great in bobs.Hope you have a great weekend 😀👍💕💕
You can pull of anything... Your comment on the curtain effect resonated with me. I think that I like that as I have super thin hair and worry so much about the front hair line on wigs. I have only warn a wig out once and it didn't go well. I wish that I could get to the point that you have with wig fashion.
Aww...thank you. VERY sweet of you. ;) Don't let that first time scare you off. Confidence is key when wearing wigs, and you just need to get back on the horse and try again. I know I had to feel really secure before I left my house. I had to make sure that baby was staying on, the hairline was covered and felt pretty great in it. I was still really scared to go out in public, and still doubted how it looked. I have had an embarrassing moment with my wig too. I took my husband to the airport and walked him in...kissed him bye when we got to the line he needed, and went to the bathroom. My wig had slipped back and you could see my OWN hairline! I was...OH MY GOD, why didn't my husband tell me?!! BUT, I don't think he really looked at me because he was so focused on the whole airport thang. ;) I just used a wig grip that morning because I was in a hurry. NEVER AGAIN! Haha! My point is..it happens to us all at some point. ;) Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend! Hugs~

Jennifer Connor I love Mena. TOB is nothing like that. I love Jolie by Noriko which fits like Mena has bangs but no lace front. If you check out Cysterwigs don't look at the list price until you put it in the cary then its like half price. Mena and Jolie are my faves.

I have this wig, I get compliments. I did pull the hanging bangs to the side and clip it. But the truth is I trimmed the side length. Thanks you explained it well, looks good on you!

Hi Jill...well you did your magic again and Jillafied your wig..lol I thought the same thing about the bamboo color..very pretty and natural but I like more highlights..especially on a subtle natural color like this. Pippa has lots of layers you can play with..hmm the lacefront on all of mine are gorgeous even my reds which would show up if not done well. I have starting cutting the extra lace on my wigs after a RW one has a lot of extra lace which you could really notice( I love RW but her lace is rough) I wasn't cutting my lace because I was afraid it wouldn't stay on as well...no problem at all..so cut away :-) great review..TOB has the most realistic mono tops around im my opinion and since I show off the part( with silicone tape) thats important to me. For the areas that itch( eartabs and seam between the lacefront and rest of wig at the temple) I think you can by mole skin..cut to fit and stick on..another drugstore find or just google it...I think this looks pretty on you Jill..beautiful job..xxox

I love your videos. I know everyone has opinions and I know you're excited to go darker during the fall and winter but I absolutely love you in blonde. You look so safisticated and glam in them.. I could see the knots very clearly in this wig.. I don't care for this wig to much.. .. my opinion says send it back and stick with your fabulous blonde's. Don't keep something you don't like especially since it has so many things that are wrong with it and probably pretty pricey... ☺

I have had the same problem. I am a new wig wearer. I had an Envy wig which looked like a beefeater hat on me, then tried Avery by Tressallure, but it's too long for me so I trimmed her up, but without a lace front and mono top she looks so wiggy. Now I have ordered an Echo by Ellen Wille and hope three times the charm and that it doesnt end up going to charity. Unfortunately the only shop near me sells Expression wigs only so I can't try on the brand's I want to buy. Thanks for your videos, you have lots of good advise.
Pippa is a very cute wig! I think it looks really good on you, both style and color. Glad you're talking to Patty, she has some styling tips that she uses that I've not seen anyone else do. The twist and push up to keep it from falling in the face seems inspired to me! Try that it may just be what you need, can't hurt to try :-) Have you skyped/face timed with her? That length looks super on you, liking the back style too :-) The color looks awesome on you!

I like this Jill and I do prefer the lighter shades on you..I would get this but as in uk don't think I can and the shipping is so much if got from the states.

I started with TOB and gave a lot away. I like Jon Renau and Ellen Wille for lace front. I ordered a Belle Madame so that's on the way.
Hi Michele! I am not impressed with TOB lace front on this wig at least, however hoping I can make it work. I do have one Ellen Wille, and it does have a lovely lacefront...Jon Renau is my favorite (so far). ;) I have one Belle Madam wig and it's very pretty...just the wrong color for me. Hi Jill. Pippa looked beautiful after you worked your magic. I've found that there are some wigs that wow right out of the box, and some need a little extra LOVE before they look good, kind of like our own hair. I didn't like the color.☹ I know you love your light blondes, but I would LOVE to see some reds on you!!! With your complexion you would rock the reds!!!

I would definitely get bangs cut in this wig & it would need shaped up, at least for me. I'm going to get it & streak it with a dark pencil.

I also like Jon Renau but no color close to shaded bamboo. So far I can’t find this style and color on Raquel Welch or Jon Renau.

Jill, I think this color is so very real looking on you. It must be a shock when you stray from your comfortable colors. I'll face that challenge soon. Outside was when I saw the real difference and it's great.
The curtain effect....ugh. I'm finding that I pull out my Jamison by Estetica more and more. I love the silky straight fibers but for the life of me, I cannot keep it from falling straight down (and I do mean straight down) into my face. I've thought of cutting long bangs but they don't sweep so I think they'd hand in my eyes. Any tips?

What dry shampoo do recommend for blonde wigs? I have Klorane, but it can leave a white cast.
Hi Sunday. I like UNWASH...but, it does also leave a white cast IF I use too much. Which i usually tend to do! ha! I do like it though. I use it on almost all my short/med short wigs. Helps those styling products really work, and usually that's why I use it. ;) Thanks for watching!
I think she definitely has potential and I love the color. I think it would be perfect for the fall and winter. Do you use It Stays all the time or do you use other methods to secure a wig.

Hi Angie! I use It Stays all the time and wig tape in the back. If I have the day off....and I need to just run out quickly I will use a wig grip. I can't use those on my Raquel Welch wigs though...the lacing warps and just looks awful. My Jon Renau wigs I can get away with it! ;) Thanks so much for watching! Have a wonderful weekend!
Wow, you put a lot of product on the fibers. Wigs must not last you very long. I just got my Pippa and it was perfect. Light fibers around the front which made the knots invisible. Love my Pippa!
Which color did you get? I'm curious as to how long "she" has lasted for you, and whether you still love her.

Marc Anthony Refreshing Coconut Clear Dry Shampoo is available at Ulta. It's in the regular section, not the high end. It is truly clear and has a nice but not overpowering coconut smell. I love this stuff and it's inexpensive $7.

Ok Jill - Dry Shampoo with NO residue: NEXUS DRY SHAMPOO REFRESHING MIST it is clear. It is not cheap. $14 but it's the best. Can use on any color hair unit.

Your comment about the "curtain effect"... Yes !!! I never had a name for it, but it is something I'm very much aware of with certain wig styles. No one has ever talked about it or mentioned it except you. And I am totally with you- it is so unnatural looking and looks very 'wiggy' to me when a style does that. I prefer when a lace front wig hairline moves up-away from the face/forehead. Or, as you said, has some 'lift' to give it a more realistic front hairline. But again, to be fair, everyone has their own idea of what hair style looks good on them, right ? And there is a wig style for everyone! Thanks for your reviews !

Athough I wear full-on wigs these days, I have three Tony of Beverly hair enhancers, i.e. toppers. I wear them to blend my bio hair with and put them up into epic messy topknot buns. I can't say enough about them. They are fabulous.

I like it both ways. I think that the color looks different than your blonde. But it is a nice color on you.

Hi there....I could hear you outside...then I thought oh gosh...now she might start cussing thinking we can't hear her. LOL. That's what I would do. You are frustrated no doubt...it's like having a date finally after being single for yrs. And everyone tells you this person is JUST made for you. Well..then he shows up at the door, and has greasy hair, lots of dirt under his nails....and he talks and sounds like maybe this might work out after all. Then he smiles a big ole grin..and omg...he's totally missing a few teeth. OH NO...disappointment. Well, you had an image that didn't meet your imagination...just like this wig. And I know what your frustration is about. In fact, you know what I hate about wigs?? I'd love to just put one on and it's would instantly 'be the one.' And if it wasn't we've have our stylist at our beck and call...to style it and trim or do whatever. Like Dolly Parton surely must have. Nor do we have the funds to have wigs especially made to fit our individual heads, and each strand just the way we want the color to be. OH Well....back to the real world. Actually after you added the shampoo and messed with it...it really started to fit you. So you see....we can change a wig...but we can't change a man. LOL Wow...what a summer it's been....I live in Oregon..so we are neighbors. You look good in everything you put on. But some days....it feels to me like no matter what I did or had....it would still be a bummer. I like the color of this wig PIPPA also. If you want to jazz it up get the gold spray on at Sally's and put a few sprays in...it really adds a lot. I saw the trick from BLONDIE locks...and it comes out with the next shampoo. Who is going to look that close to your face? But if you are not satisfied with it than you have the right to make it your own.I saw nothing bad about the lace front. Ever one is different , Make it your own.
Hi Barbara! This lace can be seen easily...it may not show up on camera as it does in person. I do find lacing differs for sure from brand to brand. I am learning which ones I like, and others that just don't work for me. I am probably pickier than most...but, it is so important for confidence and feeling great in a wig.
