I can understand why the Album Version was changed to the beat that they used. I would guess that Sting may have wanted too much money to clear the sample. Well they at least got Johnny J to make a new beat for it, but the OG is still the best version 😁
@@WizzattzProductions I think in the long term the song would have generated more money if they had left the original sample in it. A lot of post death retail release songs are kind of worthless now due to terrible production.

When 2Pac asked in verse 2 "Where is the love?" Wizzattz said to himself "I got that for you, homie" and he blessed us with this OG vibe mix. I hated that version of this song with Pac rapping into that megaphone in the background or whatever. It just overpowered the song and took away from the message for me. This mix here is it homie. Anyone else still holding on to any of the other versions of this song delete that garbage and bump this one up.
OOOOOH MY F'N GOD I absolutely HATED that "3 Day Theory" version too with that megaphone vocal effect on one of the adlibs. I was like damn, it was sooooooo close to being a perfect version, but that shit just ruined it for me, plus it was a much shorter mix. Then I also couldn't stand the w3rd verse on the main OG where Pac is doing the hook on top of it and the verse just had this "pin needle thin" sound to it making the overall song just come off as fucked up to me to where I couldn't listen to it after a while. It just seemed like there were sooooo many versions, but it was like NONE of them had everything in it in one polished mix.😑😔😫🤬🤣

Great song! But the unmixed version from 1997 on the Makaveli 3 CD sounds so much better. Engineer needs to bring the beat up into the mix more for this to hit alot better. My engineering opinion.

I got the kick drum from How Do U Want It stems, the rim shot from Thugz Mansion, the hi-hat from When I Get Free, the finger snap from stock sounds in a drum kit I have, resampled the Sting/Fragile sample, extracted the bass line from the OG, vocals from various versions of the OG. There's more detail, but I figure you get the point. 🤭
They should of never released that Eminem produced album with those random features. It should have been Makaveli 2 with this song for example on it with this type of production

When 2Pac asked in verse 2 "Where is the love?" Wizzattz said to himself "I got that for you, homie" and he blessed us with this OG vibe mix. I hated that version of this song with Pac rapping into that megaphone in the background or whatever. It just overpowered the song and took away from the message for me. This mix here is it homie. Anyone else still holding on to any of the other versions of this song delete that garbage and bump this one up.
OOOOOH MY F'N GOD I absolutely HATED that "3 Day Theory" version too with that megaphone vocal effect on one of the adlibs. I was like damn, it was sooooooo close to being a perfect version, but that shit just ruined it for me, plus it was a much shorter mix.
Then I also couldn't stand the w3rd verse on the main OG where Pac is doing the hook on top of it and the verse just had this "pin needle thin" sound to it making the overall song just come off as fucked up to me to where I couldn't listen to it after a while.
It just seemed like there were sooooo many versions, but it was like NONE of them had everything in it in one polished mix.😑😔😫🤬🤣

Well... Not exactly. A lot this is a complete rebuild. I got the kick drum from How Do U Want It stems, the rim shot from Thugz Mansion, the hi-hat from When I Get Free, the finger snap from stock sounds in a drum kit I have, resampled the Sting/Fragile sample, extracted the bass line from the OG, vocals from various versions of the OG.
There's more detail, but I figure you get the point. 🤭
