What gen do you think is the most balanced? For me it is kind of 3 because gen 4 is very well balanced but because you have the top dogs, Salamence and Garchomp banned
I have a team with charizard in my builder. Originally I made it to flex on a low ladder player I run into since it has the exact same mons, only with viable sets (i.e. sub fp over bdrum for zard). I gotta say, lefties zard w/ 328 speed fthrower hpgrass sub fpunch is such a good mon. Sends ttar and bliss to hell with a sub'd or predicted punch. Sub lets you put yourself in blaze range which roasts with 252 spatk. Zard in this capacity is often compared to moltres. Losing wisp sucks since you lose that 'gengar' factor where you have to guess correctly or else you lose a mon to burn. The main advantage however is that 328 blaze range is such a great late game threat and fire/grass/punch is very scary to deal with early game. It's frankly a very good mixed breaker with a lot of late game value with that base 100 speed and a permanent +1 in sand.
Its always nice to see a new unique teams in older gens. I must confess now that my motivation for commenting here is a question I want to ask you. BKC do you think Dracovish is a problem in gen 8 ou? A lot of players have been calling it unbalanced since it forces you to run a water absorb pokemon on every team, or you risk losing multiple pokemon to it's fishious rend. Some have even gone as far to compare it to pokemon like specs kyorge also forcing teams to run hard counters too it as well or full baton pass teams (in gens 6/7) forcing you to run a dedicated counter pokemon (usually with unaware) to not instantly lose to them. Do you think that dracvish in need of a suspect test/quick ban at all?
in my limited sword and shield knowledge, I gotta say it doesn't look like vish is even that good - it hasn't been used more than a few times in high level play
As someone who play swsh i don't think the pokemon is that much as some people think it is Toad itself was a amazing pokemon providing rocks and toxic support. Plus trapping it with dugtrio there are still some other answer to it. your also force to run scarf over band. I wouldn't be against a banned but i don't think it need to be banned because there already a pokemon on a lot of people radar to be banned
@@BKCplaysPokemon Makes sense why its not used very much since, toad is on 90% of all teams in high level play. But now I want to ask do you think that water absorb makes dracovish not overwhelming or restricting?
@@kingwailord4143 yeah, pretty much. ferro being everywhere doesn't help either. I will say that I've seen a few scarf vish rain teams and they've been pretty scary.
Noah Fence, I get that it is a inherently a dry genre of video, but what do you think about adding visual aids to go along with video like this? Nothing super crazy but I think even just drawing and writing random things on the screen for us to follow along would personally help me be able to digest the information in this video more clearly and cohesively. Love the great videos! Love and respect the amount of information you keep in your head for such a great (sometimes) game!
I appreciate the kind words! I absolutely agree that visual aids would go a long way, but I am absolutely awful with that kind of thing. plus it would make the process of making the videos a loooot longer, and I already sometimes struggle to make videos in this style where I can just go off the top of my head. I'll see what I can do about it because I'd definitely like to include these if I was able to
Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Earthquake and Fire Blast/Brick Break Salamence would be insane in terms of power in that case And Tyranitar would be even better with physical pursuit
Gotta love it when the Master is releasing his videos on a regular basis. I saw the thumbnail and immediately made a team out of it. I am no expert but it looks fire. Thanks for the support. I really am happy to say that I am taking off with making my own gsc videos too.
gen 3 has a dope balance of being very defined but still promoting creativity Such an awesome format
Absolutely! I can’t wait to explore that more

Funny how Charizard and Breloom are both in OU now. Guess undisputed really recognized their talents, and synergy.

UD is the best team builder in adv history full stop
I wonder how different the adv metagame would be if the physical special split had been introduced in gen 3 already
Gyara would be the premier offensive water, surely A+
Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Earthquake and Fire Blast/Brick Break Salamence would be insane in terms of power in that case
And Tyranitar would be even better with physical pursuit
Magneton wouldn’t be as needed to kill Skarmory
Hidden Power Bug would be special which affects a lot of the interactions between physical attackers and Celebi.

most definitely
