I know the solution here guys, your internal thermal paste is seized, you need to remove the cpu cover then replace the thermal paste inside, the CPU cover is made with aluminum, just scrape it with plastic gently, carefully, you will see inside theres a thermal paste probably solid already
This problem is due to the malfunction of the NEC tokin capacitors if they are not replaced the problem returns, this problem also happens in the fat ps3 models
This metod works only for few hours or days, and after repeting this metod the ps3 GPU & RTX will be destroyed, don't do this metod, the only way to repair your ps3 is to reballing GPU & RTX or if the problem are the capatitors NEC- tokin must be replaced

people say this because Xbox 360s (mostly Xenon models) had RROD mostly because of microsoft using unleaded solder balls instead of leaded, thus causing RROD if they cracked. because PS3s had YLOD at the time, people assumed there was unleaded solder in the PS3 as well. in actuality, it’s sorta the GPU/CPU’s fault. on the 360, the RROD was caused by mostly the solder balls, it could be a lot of other things causing it (capacitors, dead DVD drive etc). on the PS3, while the RSX may bridge solder, that’s extremely rare, most of the time it’s always the faulty NEC/TOKEN capacitors.
I fixed mine in a different way look under where the power button is at and there is vents if its dusty then that's the problem but this video still gives good tips

what temerature you use?
I saw in another video using a temperature of 300 degrees celsius. But this person applied liquid FLUX first.

Mine did this when upgrading drive. The drive was in compatible for some reason. Got a different and worked fine.
I tried with an identical drive but with 160GB and it didn't work either :|
