Not sure you will see this, but I’ll chance it. Firstly, hope you and your family are well and everything’s going well. Secondly: I’ve come across someone on a podcast by Chris Williamson who has interviewed Eric Weinstein, was a teacher of physics at Harvard. I think he is a current day Einstein. However, he is a marvellous person who knows and understands a great many interesting things about our world - and us, as human beings. You don’t need to understand physics to take something away from these. You can find two or three podcasts he appeared on with Chris these past few months. I think you might find him very interesting - I did. Very provocative and articulate people! I listened to two 3hr podcasts and was very impressed. Take care Eh, Hoser !! 🇨🇦🙏🫠
i used to drive a paper route. the hours were Midnight to...whenever i was done...usually around 5 or 6am. there was a local radio station that played syndicated radio shows. one was a talk show from out of Chicago that i loved to listen to. the other show was a show played old radio dramas. Gunsmoke, Sherlock Holmes, Superman, The Shadow, Lights Out, and some comedies...i loved it. it was a great way to stay awake while tossin' papers out the window.

Still grey skies and rain, here in Southern Ontario, though the temperatures vary greatly, this Feb. 10, 2023. Ready, and tucked in with the last of my hot cocoa, and a selection of blankets to pull up, or to throw off - depending. Temp in our bedroom currently 58 degrees. What a lovely way to drift off to sleep - being read a bedtime story every night. So far, haven’t had the “be-Jesus” scared out of me, but then I haven’t seen any stars in the sky for so long now. (Read a short sci- fi story recently where something thunderously loud rent the sky open during the night, and when the people woke the following morning, the only thing left was about a two block section of what had been a small village - the whole rest of their world, all of it, had been somehow shifted into oblivion, or dimension, they figured). Thank you Sir Edge of Nightfall ! Sleep well, everyone.

I met E.G. Marshal once, he was doing a play with Michael Learned and Michael York...only York would speak to the fans...E.G. and Learned refused to sign autographs.
Interesting! I am surprised about Michael Learned, but not Michael York. He seems to love his fans.
I love Michael Learned as well .( It may have been an egalitarian notion, not signing autographs.)
Michael York has always been one of my favorite actors. I first remember him from a tv produced version of Great Expectations. Im surprised by the behavior of EG Marshall and especially Michael Learned as they never struck me as the arrogant actor type.
There could have been lots or reasons why they couldn’t sign autographs. It’s not fair to judge someone on just one incident 🙏

The nosey wife annoyed me terribly in the beginning I can’t stand being made to talk about anything I’m not ready to talk about right then and there let alone be made to go somewhere I don’t want go. I guess that silly of me 😅 good story though 😩
This one is annoying. 10 minutes was all I could stand.
