    Seiya Suzuki is in great form, Shohei Ohtani has awakened. Shota Imanaga pitching well, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto back to his true form.
    The dream matchup between a Japanese pitcher and a Japanese hitter. ^^;

    The hardest thing for a hitter to do is to come out of a bench 4 or 5 times a game to hit while sitting in the bench for 3 hours for the rest of the game. Dodgers should put Shohei in the lead-off batting order and encourage him to steal, steal and more steal once he gets on bases. Shohei needs to be more active on the field so that he can keep blood going in his body throughout the game. Hitting is more mental than physical at his level. While he has a physical capacity to hit long balls at anytime at any place from any pitchers, it becomes more and more difficult to do so once he falls into a pit of mental slump. In a twist of irony he was able to get out of hitting doldrums when he was pitching by concentrating on pitching, which took off his mind from hitting. Since he is only hitting this season, I believe he should focus on stealing bases while he tries to hit many home runs. While hitting may go into slump once in a while in a long season, speed never goes into slump. Shohei is THE FASTEST RUNNER in Dodgers, faster than Mookie. Shohei clocks 28.2 ft/sec in max sprint speed while Mookie does 29.6. Run. Run. Run, Shohei ! Stay active on the field ! Burn that nervous energy off your body. You will be much more focused, much more relaxed in batter’s box once you burn off that nervous energy. 50-50. This is how you can contribute to winning of Dodgers this year. And this is THE ONLY YEAR you can contribute in this way since you don’t want to and shouldn’t run and steal bases once you resume pitching next year.

The other guy (you know who) had such a great command of both languages and really had a knack for being able to translate with a certain sense of natural interpretation rather than being too literal as the two languages are spoken very differently. Really sucks that he messed it all up.
