- This video analyzes the cast of the upcoming Tarantino movie on Sharon Tate's murder by the Manson family. NBC's Harry Smith interviews Quentin Tarantino, Margot Robbie, Leonardo Di Caprio, and Brad Pitt.
all the comments stating Brad is stoned and alcoholic... well he went to therapy for drinking so much booze, but he quit drinking ever since his divorce (decided to quit drinking after he lost his wife and kids to alcohol). he's been sober for 3 years now and is seeking therapy and has a new diet and doing sports to stay in shape and be healthy again. as for weed, he quit smoking weed ever since he had kids, maybe once he smoked with Quentin in 2008 but that was it and he said it in an interview. he talks like that, it's just the way he speaks, he's a laid back and chill guy who is easy going on sets and down to earth. each one of the cast is who he is, leo takes everything seriously, margot is new to this industry, quentin is just who he is, a weird movie nerd who's obsessed with film making, and brad is a relaxed and chillin' guy who's been through so much in the past couple of years. i talked too much but it had to be said...

Leo is introverted and always somewhat guarded in public. Would love to see him with a few drinks chilling with friends.
Brad looks tired. He looks very warm and forgiving. Leo looks extremely focused like he would have done some things differently in the film.

yes the interviewer was quite rude to margo and ignored her most the time and had some over the top star worship of brad and leo,I felt embarressed watching this terrible interview, I feel like something is quite off with the whole group dynamics.....Brad is very underconfident probably due to recent problems and I find his behaviour extremely akward. Bruh Margot looks so uncomfortable every interview with these three like in this specific interview she only got asked one question then ignored her the whole interview. Also i can clearly tell why she didn't like Leo very much i mean they're friends but Leo is very introverted also u can see it on premiers, interviews and press conferences he sometimes shuts her down which probably turned her off on the other hand brad is an extroverted funny person that's why she's closer to him (but they separate them bc they're getting a little TOO close to each other but we all know that Margot is off limits)
I personally loved "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" and watched it three times. Tarantino is a great writer and director. Always look forward to his work:)
QT is obsessed with film making, DeCaprio is serious about acting, Brad loves films, Margot (being the relative newcomer to film) is in awe of them all.

A little off-topic, but I found the interviewer quite abrupt. Perhaps that annoyed Margot or Leo and affected their behaviour also?
Based off of the commentators voice and the way he moves the mouse arrow, it denotes that He's in his underwear with possibly one hand on the mouse and the other hand down his tighty whities.
That's usually a sign of child abuse perhaps when he was a young boy.
Always feeling judged and always feeling ridiculed.

Wow! I think your analysis is spot on but I’m still not so sure about the overall analysis of Quentin. I just think he’s very quirky and high strung. Leo is focused and more serious. Brad is super chill. Margot really seems smitten with Brad but also comes across like she took her role to heart, very respectfully in honor of the late Sharon Tate. I can’t wait to see this film!! Leo’s almost overly composed. He’s a professional, but it feels rehearsed and bland, calculated. Margot responds to Brad’s warmth and humility. A sense of humor in these situations can reveal much about someone.
I don’t think Quentin is a racist. He just enjoys creating in an easy way an opposition betweeen characters. He surely doesn’t think that all human beings are equal. You can feel he’s so proud of being a director. In some ways he expressed his talent in an aggressive way.
I don’t know why the creator of this video did not use the word aggressive because is so well right for Tarantino talking and inclination of voice.

I agree, the behavior of Leonardo + Margot is suspicious. I think Leonardo avoids looking at Margot. His head rotation gets also faster when he 'pass over' Margot when he has to look at Quentin. It seems Margot tries to act normal and to appear in a good mood so it's hard for her to stay attentive to what the others are talking about.

1. Interviewer has arms crossed and ankles locked.
2. Brad Pitt has legs crossed.
3. Tarantino has also a defensive posture.
4. Margot Robbie is locking her ankles as well.
5. Leonardo is manspreading. So far the only positive body language in this specific moment.
Tarintino looks like he has a very dark and possibly evil side to his personality. He seems to me like a guy that delights in others pain.

Not everyone is exactly the same person. Body language isn't a universal thing, ask any professional. Sitting, speaking, looking, touching can all mean a million things not just one this video is just opinion. You can't actually read some just by body language because everyone is a different person and do their own things.

Watching this video, I’ve decided that, although I’d like to have dinner with Quentin because we have similar interests, Brad easily seems like the coolest, friendliest guy here, and probably the easiest to get along with.

Leo has had rumors about him being less than pleasant to work with nor the most generous actor. Whereas Robbie and Pitt both have been credited as generous on set with great senses of humor. Pitt is by far the most famous and has been in the limelight the longest and the most often. He understand junkets like no one else there does. You won't see him him trying to act superior like others might nor meltdown over an awkward question the way QT will. QT is just weird nerd. He talks and acts likes his fan base would put in his position.
@ace moonshot, Pitt has not really been in the limelight longer than Quentin or Dicaprio. Pitt was already 24 when he did his first role ever. Dicap was 15 when he landed his first role. Pitt, Dicaprio and QT have all been in the industry almost the exact same amount of time 30years for QT, 30 for Dcap, and 31 for pitt, but like I said Dicap was in the industry as a younger actor before Pitt. Yes Robbie is def younger than all of them and she has much less industry experience.
They are all uncomfortable during interviews to a degree because:
1 They are actors and all actors are insecure.
2. They get asked a lot of the same questions by interviewers and they have to change up their answers from time to time so that they dont keep giving the same exact answers to the exact same questions so that they dont have the same interviews all the time. That is not always easy to do, so it does make people even more nervous having to come up with new answers on the fly.

Quentin is not talking any differently than he normally does other than seeming more uncomfortable than usual. I think there's a lot of speculation about his motivation for filming this specific project and that's come out in this interview in spades. The interviewer seems to be the face of hollyweird and seems to be casting all this shade on QT and the project.
I don't know except that Sharon Tate the woman seemingly didn't get the proper respect in her portrayal that she was due. If this is the case QT and producers are rightly to blame.
ST was a real person, not a character and maybe the films focus on character was a problem for some of these folks as opposed to a more traditional narrative with a plot.
This isn't even commenting on the subtext...I can only imagine...probably as seedy as anything else coming out of hollyweird highlighted by these A-listers.

Leo has a huge ego problem! Hence him constantly going from one young model after another. He displays his ego issues in many different ways throughout many different interviews over the years. No doubt he’s a very good, and serious actor, he’s dedicated and hard on himself but it seems others would have a difficult time working along side Leo.
Margot and Leo not liking or feeling comfortable with each other, great catch! I think they hooked up or she had feelings for him on WOWS but something went wrong and now there is tension .

Ok, I watched the video... Margot's discomfort is re Leo's strictness or high standards when it comes to cinema knowledge. You can check their MTV interview - Margot mentioned that Leo was disappointed that she became an actress w.o. watching the classics. Anyway, they are cordial now, they hugged warmly in Cannes. There was a stolen photo of them hugging

It's no secret that Leo's a perfectionist and some may find him hard to work with while others may love working with him. Also I don't think she'd pass on a project with a Director she's been dying to work with over some quarrel with another actor, especially if she knew she wasn't going to share many scenes with him.

Margot and Brad are beautiful and such. But in my opinion, they lack the knowledge or depth of the characters they played. That's why they are welcome with questions outside the film related. On the other hand Leo is super excited to tell about the characters and movie but not related to his personal life. Tarantino always excited with everything lol. To me, Tarantino and Leo seems inteligent.

Hmm, could be reading too much into some bits. In my acting class, we sit in a circle to share a moment of our week. Whenever the person next to me speaks, I mostly look down. I don't know why, maybe it's weird. And it certainly isn't because I don't like them. I guess it's because I think it's their moment to speak and I don't want to distract others with my face :p Perhaps something similar goes through celebrities heads and cameras.

Harry's an old man asking questions of people in an industry he, Harry, was NEVER able to even approach the door step of. These people have to go through these interviews after EVERY production and the constant repeated questions have got to be exhausting.
Oh, 1 more thing, Margot doesn't like Leonardo due to the fact she's over 27 years old in this interview. At the time of this interview she would be 29 years old which is 2 years past Leonardo's cut off age for women he would date. She's aware of this and every time she looks at him she is reminded of the fact that NO woman is spared the impact of hitting the wall.

he originally wanted brad. brad was scheduled to film wwz 2 and passed. only then was when cruise's name floated. then paramount cancelled wwz2 and brad's schedule opened to do it. brad is a great match for leo and more suited to the laconic breezy nature of cliff than tom, but originally brad passed.
