It is vital that detectorists comply with all laws including Heritage Act 2017 that protects historical cultural heritage sites and artefacts. In Victoria it is an offence to disturb historical archaeological sites or remove artefacts from sites. Make sure you understand all applicable laws before commencing detecting activities.

Great day out! With a fun crowd! That way beat my trashy dig at the beach on the same day! (It was good to go for a swing anyway.)
What a super fun day out this was @Cindy Bushell lots of sites to visit on the same farm and lots of cool finds. We are all big kids when we get on those detectors together. Jokes, smiles and fun all round. I love it🙂

Great outing, Luke, Lisa and Deanne! Good to see them again, too, and what's better for community ownership and understanding of the local history, than such group activity as this? You'd expect it to be an encouraged and supported community activity, like Landcare or Rivercare, but do they care?!The buckle to me suggests a collar for a beast of burden, perpendicular band to where the leather strap, it would be for suspending a cowbell? Howzat from city boy?!
The mateship with the landholders, friends and community, appreciation for the land, environment and our history, you just don't get that with our colonial administrators, Hermitage Victoria. We're still very angry, and demand satisfaction! Exoneration and compensation, darn it. Might be worth asking if any Landcare or Rivercare groups have encountered and dealt with unexpected archaeology. Become your own agency, fixing farms and other sites, become a stakeholder, rissole gripper, and get government funding! Manticores for all your "volunteers"! I'll join!! Wow! The ambidextrous detectorist who doesn't dig holes! because he can't figure out which detector is calling him, but he does have exceptional ground coverage, That just needed a bit of dance music, maybe "let's do the twist"

I didn't know there was a Ned Kelly cap gun, new bucket lister. I don't know Luke, to be any threat to CBKs button finding skills you need to find a lot more buttons than that! Just because your a stone's throw away from the creek, doesn't mean that's what you have to do, The things you kids get up too! You guys need some adult supervision, but don't look at me, I'm more of a kid than any of you! Good to see Lisa and Deanne out with you again! Great fun! Cheers Mate!

So much fun on this day with Lisa and Deanne, and so much room for activities at Francos old property. He has endless land it seems and endless sites to explore. Haha a funny feeling trying to swing both detectors at the same time and of course hard to know which to concentrate on at once🤣

Hey has Franco ever gone for a detect with you or is he too busy/not interested?
A great day out spent with the girls on this one @Working 925 detecting my favourite was hunting along the rivers edge, just a beautiful spot to detect.
Na never detected with me mate, wouldn't be interested. Although he always asks what I found and what's its worth...haha typical Business man Franco like😆
