2001 camry owner. There is no cabin air filter.
If you're going to do this , make sure that your configuration conforms to the one on this video. I looked at my 2001 Camry and it has a different set up.

I have been doing auto repairs for 40 years. There is NO cabin filter behind or a Philips screw. On the right side.there is on on the left but it is hidden by the the box took whole box and framework out. NO cabin filter

Unfortunately true. I have access to one, checked. No Cabin Air Filter.
On a HondaAccord is about the same process to change the cabin filter, the Honda dealer charges $74.00 for that simple task. What a rip off!
New filters are expensive. I’m so cheap I reuse the filters by vacuuming out and washing them.

My 2001 Camry does not have one.
Good job. It's amazing how many folks put them in wrong. They pay no attention to the "air flow" and just assume the arrow points up as it does on the OEM filter.

Arrow is for what size is up, not airflow direction.
The carbon needs to be on the top side.

My car doesn't have the right hand side arm. It has a cable on the left hand side of the box.
And it is a pain to access. Plus my right side stopper is super long.

Jim how often you recommend wheel alignment?
You should align your wheels after replacing tie rods, or if you see more wear on the inside OR outside edge of the tire(s).
If you see excess wear on both inside and outside edges equally, you have a chronic under-inflation problem. You may also want alignment if, with tires properly inflated the steering seems to "hunt" -wander back and forth requiring constant correction OR if tends to drift to the right or to the left. But keep in mind that most roads have a crown to let the rainwater drain to the side. So the car will naturally drift off the slope. if you can safely straddle the line on a two lane highway
you can see if the car "tracks" properly...it should just keep going straight as you let wheel free in your hands.
Also, if you feel like you always have to push back on the wheel in one direction to keep the vehicle going straight, then you have alignment problems.
Hi, is this the location for the year 2001 Toyota Camry also? Your video title says 2001 - 2016 but I am not sure if it really included the 2001 model also known as the sxv20 or its just typo on the title of the video. I just bought a used 2001 Camry that didn't come with the owner or service manual. I want to locate the cabin air filter and see if I need to replace it but I don't know where its located. In fact I don't even know if these older models came with one. Thanks for any pointers.

how come there's no cabin filter in my 2001 toyota tacoma? there is just one plastic tube running horizontally behind the glove box.
Some cars or truck sometime does not come with a filter.
