      Hi Freddy, yes Its all started with bass line, Ive paste and copy 3 times same bass line and send all 3 via different filters, and played with cut off effect on all 3 in different times awesome fun! I'm huge dnb lover, just cant push sound far enough

    Still getting my head around mine, but I think the learning curve is a little better than I was expecting.
    I'm running my EMX-1 into one of the audio inserts to make use of the FX - that function is a game-changer.

      thanks a lot. Practice and lots of attempts to start a new tune got me to this level, Im running my EMX1 just via midi as a master, so i could use arpeggio to trigger Roland's sounds, Roland has deep tone and I love it,

    Easily the best dnb tune I've heard made on a groovebox. I'd def play this on a regular basis. Did all the sounds come from the Mc707? I'm not familiar with that machine. I'm about to by a Model:Samples but this vid has me thinking maybe I should save my money for one of these.

    • @alekszvon8294
      @alekszvon8294  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks a lot Daniel, makes me proud, because not one synth or bass sample got used, all synth based sounds. This machine is stuffed with great sounding preset synths that have to be used to type melodies with or play octaves, chords, place notes on step sequencer running bar and after add twist with mega cool new Synth engine. Drums are strong, lots of filters and effects to play with. This machine is for creating your own samples with inside synth

    Привет. Скажи пожалуйста, это твой первый серъезный девайс (грувбокс)? В данном видео используется пресеты роланда или семплы с софта тоже идут? Благодарю. Долго ли учился на нем работать?

    • @alekszvon8294
      @alekszvon8294  3 роки тому

      Привет Алексей. Спасибо что интересуешься. Первый серьезный грувбокс был Korg EMX1, но Роланд звучит поглубже и больше возможностей, в этой теме только драм сэмплы с компа залил туда, а всё остальное написал сам внутренним синтезатором, у синта движок очень глубокий в настройках, вообще советую этот грувбокс, очень грамотный. У меня ушло где-то неделю на то чтобы разобраться в нём, а потом просто легко тему за темой писать.

    Daaamn that sounds sick. I got the 101, should I be able to reproduce that gnarly distorted bass sound you keep tweaking or does it require the more advanced synthesizer engine from the 707?

    • @alekszvon8294
      @alekszvon8294  4 роки тому

      Thanks a lot for listening glad you like it. The trick I've done here with bass line is copy and paste on to 3 separate channels, then each channel with same notes I've gave slightly deferent bass line with it's own filter, and then just take cut off 2 bass channels, keep one, then take that one away but add another one, as long as 3 synth sounds you pick are sounds good, then trick will work with melody, percussions or bass lines. Good luck

    • @OttosTheName

      @@alekszvon8294 Oh nice, that's a clever way to get a lot of hands-on control over the sound. I'll definitely give that a shot on my 101.
