Here are my tips for taking multiple choice tests:
1) if 2 choices say the same thing, but worded differently, then they're both wrong
2) there is often one choice that is ridiculous and easily eliminated
3) always underline important words in the question
4) be careful of questions with the word "except" or "not"
5) if a question has 2 parts to it, focus on only 1 part at a time.

I want to thank you for sharing these amazing tips to do these exams, I struggle alot with these as I focus on mostly understanding the whole course but you simplified it for me, I am an Aircraft Engineering Student from New Zealand and all our exams are multiple choice! Thank You Again, One of my exams is in 6 days!
This video was very helpful! On a side note, I can tell, like me, you don't agree with having MC tests since as you mentioned, it's mostly just memorization...not really long-term learning. I feel that schools need to move away from MC tests and to more open-response questions where you have to know the material well enough to have a stance you can defend honestly and well. I feel like that is a much better way to create incentive for students to learn because all MC tests do is teach students to memorize terms for short-term recall, but of course most of those terms they won't remember after the class.

To know thy stuff is the first step to appreciate the framework of the Syllabus before solving MCQuestions.

And I wanna ask .. do you have a video about how to link the information together on a piece of paper ? Because I don´t know how exactly I should connect all the names with dates,key words ect. Hello my friend, the best way to learn lists are through the use of mnemonics in my opinion. That is what has always helped me out :) Check this article out as it clearly gives you examples of how to use that technique to boost memory : www.learningassistance.com/2006/january/mnemonics.html Also, for history (and remembering dates) making a timeline is key especially if you are visual like me. :) Don't worry, you go this!!! 😊💐🌸 I hope this was useful to you.
Ana Mascara ,Thanks a lot for helping me out but then , the author names are too long and complicated that while solving any of the MCQ I become puzzled :( Also, I regret this thing that I would have started studying seriously for my entrance tests previous year itself ,but I left all the things for the last moment which has become a habit of mine. But anyway, keep on posting these lovely and helpful videos. :) And yes, I'll also follow your excellent suggestion which you gave me. Also, can you please make a video on how to make a test of MCQ by ourselves ? Thanks :)
What I would do in this situation is keep writing them using the memory boost method so that my had remembers the movements of the authors names. It's strange to explain but you can remember it this way - for example I never know what my home phone number is but when I open my phone and just start typing my hand intuitively knows what buttons to press because it memorized the series of movements (the pattern). Maybe it can help you. :) And for sure i will add your suggestion to my list of videos to film. Thank you so much for suggesting the topic! Happy Friday! 💐🌷

+Muhammad Soban Abid I am so sorry I am answering this late. I hope your exam went well. :) I usually guess the right meaning of a word I don't know by using the phrase it is in. Usually teachers use words that were in the textbook or that they spoke or used in class, so make sure you review before the exam. If you really do not understand the word, why not ask the professor to clarify? In Canada we are allowed dictionary during the exam so if there is a word we are unsure of we can look up the definition. I hope this helps for your future exams ^_^
