The pidzoom rear view mirror came out about 2 to 3 months ago and was pitched at the Euc market and has become a firm favourite with that community. I use a wrist mirror for my Euc rides.
I saw a video of someone with a wrist mirror or gloves mirror. I didn't realise and thought he was just really friendly waving at everyone 😂 but yeah I can see how this would be really useful for EUC
I have a lumos helmet but I also have a normal cycling helmet with the vents to these I have attached indicator lights bought from Temu or eBay, 2 pairs and they can be sinked to 1 remote then attached to helmet and remote to handlebars and you have indicators on your helmet and they also bleep 👍 this is a cheaper version than buying a smart helmet, every penny counts these days
@@ChaoYangMF I bought the indicators of Temu for about £3.75 so £7.50 for the 2 pairs and sink them together and attach to helmet, job done ,to sink them i found out on UA-cam how to do it
You should try the Livall neo helmet. Probably more your style ( and mine) with all those features, plus cooler indicators. And the ability to listen to music. And be able to make and answer a call. And it sends a text message to a nominated number, showing your location in the event of an accident. And you can listen to directions from your phones satnav or Komoot. Oh, and it's a safety helmet too..😊 Over techy? Probably but you can pick these up at a reasonable price (£78 Amazon) so why wouldnt you?
*Safety first!* 🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽 I like magnetic lights for clothin! App smart lights 👌🏽👌🏽 You can never have too many lights at night when ridin, better safe than sorry 🤙🏽 Lookin forward to the bike review!
PIDZOOM's mirror solved this problem for riders even without a handlebar. Like EUC riders, skaters and even skiers. I never got a functional mirror on my bikes because they vibrate. Instead, on the helmet it works a lot better. The issues you explain on your video, despite you seems to have solved by positioning the mirror more to your liking, may also improve by testing the included flat mirror. The packaging is such that some customers do not know that inside there is a second mirror. 😅 Flat for more clarity and convex for more field of view. Even using glasses this should not be an issue since you eyes are not focusing at the mirror's distance but at the reflected objects. I like the concept of Lumos' helmet and additional lights but I want a helmet that protects my face. A helmet I can choose and has BT (paired with my phone for directions, talk and music).
Weird how it has to be 67. I put it to 100 and it did nothing. Did you manage to get a throttle going on it? Saw your review a while back btw. Good stuff 👌
I have never tried such a mirror, but it seems to me that with such a close location to the eyes, there will inevitably be situations when bright light will blind you.
At the same time you could easily turn your head slightly to not be blinded. It may also be less susceptible to vibration like handlebar mounted mirrors.
I use PIDZOOM's Helmet Mirror while riding on my EUCs and eBikes, and it works flawlessly. A slight adjustment to the angle of the mirror head eliminates any reflections, and I actually appreciate noticing approaching cars even when I’m not directly looking at the rear. This would be imposible with a mirror on a wristguard. I prefer the provided convex mirror with the shortest possible arm for a steadier image, others prefer the provided flat mirror. Many assume they need a longer arm if they wear reading glasses, but this isn’t the case. We focus not on the mirror’s surface but on the reflected objects. It takes some time to get used but then it is great. It’s also important to ensure your helmet is properly adjusted; if it’s loose, it can introduce vibrations to the reflected image as well as compromise protection in case of a fall.
@@gpsanino awesome I'm going to try the convex at some point. Yeah I used the longer arm thinking I'd need the distance but quickly realised I focus on the combined distance to the point I'm looking at. Glad it works so well for you 👍

I really like this, at 1st it reminded me of an Insectoid. Nice one.

Im reviewing it too 😁

@e-VRC hi yes weird ? Same as duotts I think 🤔
I plugged a throttle in from another bike just to try and it worked ok
Cheers mark
@markpulling12 ah maybe it's my throttle then. It didn't work on a different bike either
Yeah, really like the look of them. Bit pricey though 🤔
@@philpowell6915 yeah not cheap. I think I got the price wrong for the lights too. It's like 50 quid for 2. 30 something for 1.
Currently on offer Amazon got one for £153
Finally, a video where you didn't have to travel to the USA 😂
😂😂😂
How comfortable is it to use such helmet when you wear glasses?
It's fine although when I put the visor down they touch sometimes but once down it's fine.

I say it's more susceptible to vibration. Because it's closer smaller vibrations have a bigger effect.
