Your brother is so wise! Such great advice. Coming from someone who chose family over a career move I will tell you it is something you will never regret. The only time I've ever questioned my decision is when I was being compared to others and where they were career wise at my age. I chose to be a present parent. To be there for my daughter instead of pursuing my career. At 30 I am starting new and beginning my career goals. When I look at my daughter I feel pride knowing she knows I chose her. I wish you luck in your journey of family.

1. Tricare and military are great for building a family, aka no bills and if anything happens you're taken care of and the new leave times for both family members also helps. Past supervisor's kid (baby) had open heart surgery, 250k Tricare covered 100%.
So wonderful! Praying for the both of you and I definitely understand. I'm 27 and my next goal after enlisting in the Air Force and getting our finances together is to start a family in my 30s. I really wanted to start early in my 20s too but that just wasn't happening because I too chased the career and moving up in a warehouse and such. You have such an awesome family and husband to talk about priorities and goals with. Truly a blessing! I can't wait to see videos about your pregnancy while in the Air Force! Take care and continue aiming high!
I’m just thinking Space Force + Marines = Space Marines..... awesome. But anyways, so glad you wanted to focus on your family! Understandable and I believe you chose well. Wish you the best and can’t wait for more vids!
Make the best of the situation you are in. The only thing I would change, study a little harder for Staff. The 1 thing I want say is, treat everyday as if you are gonna stay the 20. Everyday is a new day with new opportunities. By the time this enlistment is up, it's that closer to retirement. I'm rambling. Do what you need to do that is best for you and your family. And remember, the AF paid for my daughter being born and classes on parenting. They pay for your future family.

Why do people want to rush to have kids in their 20's? I'm 27 and I wasn't even planning on having kids until at LEAST my mid 30's.
Because a geriatric pregnancy for a woman starts at 35... plus a bunch of other issues that come along

I'll take my chances rather than lose the best part of my youth, traveling, growing in my career without having the stress and responsibly of another human being that is unable to care for themself. By then I will be both mentally and finacially ready. It is quite possible to have children in your 30's and even early 40's. Risk are present at any age. If you're young and obese/unhealthy you can have similar risk as that of someone older.

Started my family in my fourties. Better to do it earlier. If things workout you will have plenty of time to do everything you want.

Watching the Moon landing kept me dreaming. Was in my forties before I learned to fly. Follow your dreams soon not later. Maybe one day I will get a vacation on the Moon.
