St. Michael's Choir - Orlim

2020 has been a very topsy turvy ride for all of us and the year seems to be coming up with more surprises each day. With the ongoing pandemic, the guidelines curtailed all social liberties and any kind of activity seemed a very long walk away. The YouTSing event came up like a ray of light of more like a vaccine in these times from the constant boredom at home. The Phone rang and an opportunity awaited to be able to collaborate.The idea of being able to create music in a state of panic and chaos with innovative means served to be a very challenging offer. We got together keeping in mind the guidelines laid down by the government and ensured that every means available could be used to communicate. The best parts were the practice sessions that were held keeping in mind the social norms and it all, in the end, seemed more like an escape than a competition.
