    Many of us have been traumatized by math in school and I hope this video doesn't trigger your PTSD... but I feel if I had teachers like this lovely Professor (David Eisenbud), I'd enjoy learning more about math! The older I get, the more I appreciate mathematicians, it seems they're not only highly intelligent, but also often the kind of people (a bit nerdy and quirky) that I like best:)

    I love this so much, you can tell he loves maths and what he's doing. It feels like he's really enjoying telling you everything. I also liked how he showed how he got it wrong. Even though I'll probably forget this, it was fun/interesting to try and wrap my head around it whilst still feeling very relaxed.

    Before I knew what ASMR was (probably 2005ish) I would turn on local access tv before bed because they always had a math program on where a lady did math just like this every night and it was help me go to sleep.

      When I start watching for the first time Bob Ross, around 1995, I didn't trigger my ASMR, so I didn't knew by that time what ASMR is and how make you feel

      There is listening or watching stuff to help you relax and or fall asleep and then there’s asmr, where you actually have a physical response.

      Man I feel you! Today was a really hard day for me with my programming because I couldn't solve simple things and they took me hours, I got so annoyed.     I relaxed, but ended up staying awake intently listening. I was never too fond of algebra 2 in high-school, but I did love geometry. I still find geometry fascinating.

    I study physics and math, and I have absolutely no idea what this professor is trying to show, but the asmr is really good.
    Math usually works different, drawing circles and lines is really, really archaic, and this is in no way rigurous for even numerical math (that has an error), but it is beautiful to see and ear
