About The Washington Spirit
The Washington Spirit is the premier professional women’s soccer team based in Washington, D.C. and plays at Audi Field in Buzzard Point. The Spirit was founded on November 21, 2012 and is an inaugural member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) the fastest-growing sports league in the US. What a fresh air going thru the Spirit team this week. You’ve already won first game against the NJ/NY on their home turf. The Gotham is not a mediocre team, they played well but your girls came out victorious. Congratulations for that!

😂 He said in a very nice way, we can not play like barca! Why? Those girls have been trained since they were little girls. Playing together, graduated from La masia They have their own philosophy, ideologie, system of play. The technical abilities, the touch vision balhandeling, chemistry, it's umatched! The spirit way is a combination of direct physical with possesion and this way develop your own identity like the coach said the spirit way!
