My favorite segment ever has now hit 50. So proud of the ingenuity and brilliance that they’ve created over the years. So glad that Jenny and Amber could bless us with this for all these years.

@@dogtatoI remember the Easter parade that Amber did during the pandemic when she showed off the gowns that she has worn to events once, and then they take up space in her closet. I'm pretty sure that's one of those.
There's that moment of panic in Seth's eyes right before they tell him the twist. That's when he figured it out and that first drink was, "I'm going to need this." If this was faked Seth is actually one of the best actors in the world.
The fact that Amber has a margarita is the best thing ever.

The princess dress… the marg… It’s the most on-brand Amber moment of the season and I’m here for every second of it. Only way it could be even more Amber is if she was singing insults at her sister 😂

Seth's visible discomfort is so adorable and hilarious. It's a good day when we get a 'Jokes Seth Can't Tell' segment, and this was the best yet.
This show has become the epitome of "When the inmates are running the asylum."
And I love it.
Only difference is: somehow, the warden is also an inmate.

Only Seth could do this. He’s perfect in this “uncomfortable” environment. And the two writers are terrific. I’ve been a big Amber fan since i first saw her on the show.

I love this bit, but it could be funnier if they did it like Michael Che does it to Colin Jost on SNL: little to no reaction. That lets the horror sink into the audience

These ladies have the real spirit of comedy- just going big and bold and joyful. The utter and complete randomness of ball gowns and a royal announcer is just the perfect touch.
This episode alone shows what a great work environment late night must be!
That always make me feel so calm, knowing the effort to listen that goes into the show. Nobodies perfect, but we should all be trying to listen anyway.

ONLY this show! Fallon's writers hate him. Colbert and Kimmel each have ONE writer allowed on screen regularly. That's it, on those shows. Seth includes them all!
My husband had me back it up to rewatch when Amber and Jenny first came out. He wanted me to see how much Seth's posture looks just like his Dad when his Dad's on the show! After all the conversations on Family Trips and Strike Force Five where Seth has shared about how much he's much like his dad, it's been fun to see it show up in ways we hadn't noticed before. So excited for the family episode in two days. We love you Larry!

Best late show host by a mile. I love Seth, the writers, the crew, the whole vibe. Corrections is something I look forward to every week. So glad the strikes are over and that the unions achieved their goals, more or less.
Covid and the strikes showed us who was good on their own and who stood behind their coworkers.
Everything these three do on screen together is awesome!

I love this segment. This one was amazing.
Honestly was surprised they didnt make a lesbian dressing up joke.
As they walked out, I was entirely prepared for Jenny's ball gown to be a split skirt (i.e., pants/trousers that appear to be a skirt)
I was fully expecting something like "Seth is as uncomfortable in this segment as Jenny is in this dress."

If you're wondering about the look on his face as the bit starts, that's their boss dealing with his show getting taken over by his employees. The level of trust he has in his staff is impressive.
you can tell the whole intro was amber's idea just so she would have an excuse to wear one of her fancy dresses (edit) okay i love that this is basically the colin jost/michael che joke swap on SNL, where each tries to write the most horrifically offensive punchlines for the other to read. LOVE IT!
Agreed, but this was kid gloves compared to what Che does to Jost.
So refreshing to see happy people and have a laugh. Meyers is natural and the writers are getting better with camera time
Seth is even closing his eyes in horror after each joke, just like Colin Jost in the joke swaps lmao this must have been super uncomfortable for him, but I loved every second of watching him panic.

Easily one of the top five moments of the show, this was incredible! Seth’s turn at the end, the audience member’s audible reaction, how well Amber and Jenny planned everything, this was just perfection!!

The wasps!!! I genuinely forgot about the wasps!! They're such terrible creatures! I forgot how the attic had an infestation, but it was the only quiet part of the house to do "Corrections." OH, damn that's funny!

Everything about it is perfect, from the genuine discomfort Seth experiences to the childish glee Amber and Jenny derive from it.
It's a great way to tell funny jokes without punching down (I'm not Black, but I am Gay and disabled so I can empathise. Many of the most vicious put downs come from within the communities.) Here's wishing you another 50 more, and who knows - maybe take Ep 100 to the streets (just make sure that Seth has his running shoes and an inhaler ready... 😉 😁
