I restored a 1940's wooden mahogany jewelry box. I painted it with chalk paint, dark plum purple with a dark pink blended. I put this on and I hated it. So I took it off with car wax. I didn't like it. I dulled my finished. Thank you for the video.
I’m confused. Thought you were suppose to use the light wax first. I mean I can get that look with white washing and not messing with the wax. And Amy said to off load before painting the surface with the wax.
Love the cerusing wax with the raw oak. I’m doing a small raw oak table this weekend n will be using this technique! Can’t wait
