Wise decision! Amazing that you still have energy to record snippets! Love it. Btw I am completing my oldest daughter’s 21st album. Her party was in the year 2000!!😂 This year she will be 45. I had to compromise back then too and ended up just completing birthdays with lots of blank pages to fill in “later”. Well, here I am 24 years later finally getting to it. In my defence I have three other daughters - and yes, their 21st albums need to be completed too. I wonder if I will live long enough to get this done? 🤔😀 Thanks again for your inspiring video clips. 🤗🦘🇦🇺
That's so awesome. And it's never too late. I love that you left blank pages. I've done that before too. When you complete them, they will be so special and your daughters will LOVE looking at them. Fun fact: I am one of four daughters! Thanks for watching and sharing!
Fun following you! Congratulations Nathaniel on all your accomplishments! Did you put some sort of label did you put in his albums that said they were from you? If so can you share what you did and how, please?
Thank you so much, Judy! Actually, I will hand-write something on the inside covers. Creative Memories albums always have a place for that.
@@TheLazyScrapbooker Thank you.
The baseball albums you made are beautiful! I have a scrapbooking question and I’m hoping you can help. I keep a yearly album for each of my children (3) and myself. I find myself duplicating all the travel scrapbook pages for each album, and it’s really time consuming. If I scanned my 12 x 12 layouts, how would you advise printing them to put in each child’s album? I’m not really tech savvy so I’m not sure what the options are. And, if I don’t scan, is there a way to get 12 x 12 copies/prints? I’d appreciate any advice in this regard. Thank you!
Hi there! Thanks so much. I know in the past Costco actually had 12x12 prints in their photo department. I don't use them and am not a Costco member, but I've heard many of their photo departments have shut down. I'm not sure if it is just some stores or all. So there's a possibility there. Another option I highly recommend is the Creative Memories Custom Albums. You create the album digitally on our website using your computer (not a phone) and they are printed on traditional 12x12 scrapbook pages. You could print three copies of that. One advantage of them is that you can adjust the sizes of your photos and get lots of small photos or even larger photos. And they look amazing!
Thank you for your suggestions. I certainly appreciate your thoughts. I was hoping to not have to spend any time “creating” since I’ve already completed the pages for our family albums. I was hoping to just scan and print or copy the pages I’ve already done. It seems like there should be an easy way to do this but I’m not sure what that is. I did not want to have to create a book on Shutterfly or CM since I just want to be able to copy the layouts I’ve already completed. Hope that makes sense.
@@Ndlondon83 That makes total sense. There are places that will print a 12x12 print. The question is... do you have access to a scanner big enough. I personally don't have a scanner big enough, but there have to be some out there. Best of luck!
I do have access to a scanner that can scan 12 x 12 items. I’m trying to figure out what to do after scanning-have copies made, have prints made on photo paper or find a place that allows me to put these scanned pages into a book with little to no effort. Ideally, I wanted to be able to put it in thin photo books. I stop scrapping my kids’ albums once they graduate. Other than a trip to Costa Rica and London that still need to be added to their albums, all of the other trips were taken after they graduated-Scotland, Belgium, Prague, Paris, Greece, Turkey and Portugal. Since two are already out of college and have at least 12 CM albums, I don’t want to give them another 7 albums to add to their collection. I love CM albums and will use if I have to but was hoping for some thin little book. Are CM digital albums thin or are they similar to a regular album? I could also copy or print on photo paper and place them in top loading pages in a CM album. Sorry for all the details but I really want to get this project done this summer. My youngest is home from college and he is going to scan everything for me since I’m not tech savvy at all. I so appreciate you taking the time to offer suggestions and advice! Have a great day!
@@Ndlondon83 CM digital albums are the regular bookcloth albums. They are printed on traditional scrapbook pages so they allow a "hybrid" approach if you want to add memorabilia, traditional pages, handwritten journaling, embellishments with foam squares for dimension, etc.
How did you make the slide show? My daughter has a project to do and she wants to do it like a slide show
I actually used my video software that I use to create these videos. Cyberlink PowerDirector. But a slideshow can be created in a number of ways. Even PowerPoint works.
