it's nice to see that MH has improved their meal services to a full meal tray, not a meal box with a Nips Candy. Hopefully they would retire their old 737s so the experience could be better. Good thing it wasn't a long flight. Thanks for sharing.

Sebagai orang Malaysia ,saya ingin maaf ya bro Rahmat Dhani sekiranya this is your bad experience with MAS. Mohon ampun juga bro kerana ada flight kensel. MAS sedang dalam proses restructuring dan pemulihan. 737-800 sudah hampir 10 tahun digunakan. sekarang ini MAS ada 48 unit -800 tapi sesetengahnya akan digantikan dengan MAX 8 dan MaX 10 pada tahun ini (2019). Semoga bro terus menggunakan MAS,ya?

Malaysian here, yeah I agree with old livery of MAS in fact that plane was used to be Firefly which is also part of MAS however they discontinued their 737-800 fleet instead focusing on ATRs only, the plane itself is obsolete and therefore not relevant for 2-4 hours flight especially no in flight tvs.

When travelling with MH on its 737-8, i always hope that i dont get into this old 737-8 aircraft (ex-firefly) 😂. I think that this model suitable to be deployed for domestic sectors instead. Saya mengerjakan haji pada tahun 2018 melalui pakej swasta. Saya menaiki pesawat Lion Air 777-300 KL-Madinah (pergi) dan Jeddah-KL (pulang) yg di sewa khas oleh Saudi Flynas. Asbab flight adalah untuk jemaah haji maka tiada inflight entertainment. Tapi flight crew warga Indonesia sangat sopan dan sabar dengan karenah para jemaah haji Malaysia yg ramai sudah tua dan kurang upaya. Terimakasih Lion Air. Semoga Allah merahmati flight crew Lion Air.
Having IFE in 737s are additional... just so you know ALL 737 and A320s in China doesn't equip with IFEs and heard that some of the newer ones doesn't equip with overhead TVs...

Andrew do you know... the exit row is the most dangerous seat in any type of aircraft? Be it the A380, A330, B777-200, B777-200er, B777-300ER, A320, B737, B787-800, A350 or the latest B787-10.... google it and find out why.... :) PS: I dun know why PAX like the emex row so much... apart from its more leg room...you have to help the crew in any emex....and you will be one of the first to KO if lets say the door suddenly rips open midflight....

Sepertinya MAS menggunakan old aircraft ini untuk trayek pendek domestik spt ke lgk atau pen dan trayek pendek internasional khususnya ke medan kecuali mungkin krn urgent condition spt di video pake yg ini krn ketiadaan stok pesawat dan spt nya pesawat ini merupakan pesawat cadangan bg MAS yg good ready apabila sewaktu2 dibutuhkan, hebatnya kondisinya prima bgt ditengah kondisi cuaca buruk & saat landing ini krn best maintenance atau emang model ini merupakan masterpiece nya boeing ya. Malah, saya baru kemaren, Tanggal 5 juli. Pas naik, lah kok di seat economy paling depan gak ada IFE? Kok Kursinya warnanya agak lain? Pas liat liat lagi, Yahh memang gak ada IFE. Jakarta-KL juga kan penerbangan yang lumayan lama, 2 jam lebih, kayaknya dengan pesawat registrasi 9M-MLx, Kebanyakan gak ada IFE. Saya dapet 9M-MLL
Mustinya CGK harus buat kayak KLIA, sistem ruang tunggunya bagus buat rotasi pesawat, jika masuk dari atas itu buat penerbangan internasional, jika masuk dari bawah buat penerbangan domestik, tetap Di ruang tunggu yang sama hanya Flow pintu masuknya saja, BTW saya mala mau coba B738 MH yg lama (buat capture livery) mala di ksh sky interior pula walau cuma KUL-PEN 😅

Pernah pengalaman dari KL ke Jakarta waktu itu saya udah di bandara terus tiba-tiba dapat notif sms kalau penerbangannya dibatalkan, Trus saya karena dibatalkan oleh maskapai MAS ini saya berniat memesan Tiket Airasia nah kan tiket airasia nya udah dipesan. Karena Saya sudah memesan tiket airasianya saya ada inisiatif untuk Nelpon customer servise MAS nya untuk Merefund tiket malaysia ini, namun Karena sekiranya Bahasa Inggrisnya yang sangat Bad menyebabkan ada sedikit Miscomunication, and then si Customer service nya Ini ngirim Link Refund dari E-mail saya. Saya isilah link refundnya. Kata link itu tulisannya saya terjemahin aja ya terima kasih telah mengirimkan Linknya tunggu 30 Hari Kerja. Sudah saya tunggu kan lebih dari 30 Hari, Kok belum ada Notif Email. Saya telpon lah pihak Customer servicesnya si MAS ini Pas ditelpon Si mas-masnya minta data diri dulu trus dicek lah tiket yang mau direfund ini, Setelah dicek kata masnya Ini Sorry sir, Your ticket is can't to be refund (maaf pak, tiket anda tiket anda tidak bisa direfund). Saya kesel dong Terus saya minta pertanggung jawaban tapi si mas mas Customernya Malah Ngomong Dengan Nada tinggi ''PAK TIKET BAPAK NGGAK BISA DIREFUND BISA MENGERTI TIDAK PAK" Seingat saya begitu kalau diterjemahin. It was mentioned in your video that hot drinks was not served due to bad weather. Why am i not surprised? It's becoming a normal "SOP" for MH short distance flight. Trust me, it has got nothing to do with bad weather. It's just one of their cost cutting strategies. I flew with MH (KUL-LBN-KUL) regularly and not a single time hot drinks were ever served. Not even in a perfectly fine weather. Their excuse is....well, your guess is as good as mine. Imagine a breakfast without hot coffee or hot tea. Its like having sex without an orgasm! Through the years of living and travelling overseas, I had the chance to fly with numerous airlines such as Emirates, SIA, Qantas, Austria, JAL, ANA, JAS, Lufthansa, KLM, Easy Jet, South China, Virgin Blue, Air NZ, Polynesian and even AirAsia, none of these airlines has ever came out with such a lame excuse for not serving hot drinks. Well, they do take a few minutes pause during turbulence, which is perfectly understandable. That being said, i do applaud Malaysia Airlines effort to improve the stardard of their services by sending us email for feedbacks. As a customer (and a responsible Malaysian), I do feel oblige to do my part by giving some feedback after each flight. The problem is, the only "respond" that i get in return is the same recorded announcement..."hot drinks will not be served due to bad weather".

Malaysian Airlines Flight getting worst. I experienced several times Flight from KL to Sandakan or Tawau - two and half using old boeing 737 without Inflight entertainment . Its worst than Airasia but your are paying premium. What a shame and it is understood why MAS now is ranked lowest among the carrier. Cant they do something about that !!

In Venezuela a flight could delay like 30 hours and we fly in a 737-200 or MD-80 so don't worry.
Having IFE in 737s are additional... just so you know ALL 737 and A320s in China doesn't equip with IFEs and heard that some of the newer ones doesn't equip with overhead TVs...

Hi I am not malay but at least you still have the experience to take the old MHs 737-800 have fun traveling around the world for the rest of the year and also want to say that it is not good to travel the old Malaysia airlines plane for more than 1.5 hours cuz it is way too boring in side the plane

Yeaa, exit row is a must if flying on B738/A320. Lol, not all bad, last year "only" 3 times got this old aircraft haha
Andrew do you know... the exit row is the most dangerous seat in any type of aircraft? Be it the A380, A330, B777-200, B777-200er, B777-300ER, A320, B737, B787-800, A350 or the latest B787-10.... google it and find out why.... :)
PS: I dun know why PAX like the emex row so much... apart from its more leg room...you have to help the crew in any emex....and you will be one of the first to KO if lets say the door suddenly rips open midflight....

Saya pernah naik A330 untuk Malaysia Airlines. Pesawatnya sih lumayan enak tetapi standar sih. Sama kayak Garuda. Kalau mau coba naik yang A380. Enaknya minta ampun! Ga nyangka kalau lagi naik MH. Haha.
Sepertinya MAS menggunakan old aircraft ini untuk trayek pendek domestik spt ke lgk atau pen dan trayek pendek internasional khususnya ke medan kecuali mungkin krn urgent condition spt di video pake yg ini krn ketiadaan stok pesawat dan spt nya pesawat ini merupakan pesawat cadangan bg MAS yg good ready apabila sewaktu2 dibutuhkan, hebatnya kondisinya prima bgt ditengah kondisi cuaca buruk & saat landing ini krn best maintenance atau emang model ini merupakan masterpiece nya boeing ya. Kl dr mdn ke kl kita biasa tuh naik yg ini 😭 😁😁😁

Malah, saya baru kemaren, Tanggal 5 juli. Pas naik, lah kok di seat economy paling depan gak ada IFE? Kok Kursinya warnanya agak lain? Pas liat liat lagi, Yahh memang gak ada IFE. Jakarta-KL juga kan penerbangan yang lumayan lama, 2 jam lebih, kayaknya dengan pesawat registrasi 9M-MLx, Kebanyakan gak ada IFE. Saya dapet 9M-MLL

Mustinya CGK harus buat kayak KLIA, sistem ruang tunggunya bagus buat rotasi pesawat, jika masuk dari atas itu buat penerbangan internasional, jika masuk dari bawah buat penerbangan domestik, tetap Di ruang tunggu yang sama hanya Flow pintu masuknya saja, BTW saya mala mau coba B738 MH yg lama (buat capture livery) mala di ksh sky interior pula walau cuma KUL-PEN 😅

Pernah pengalaman dari KL ke Jakarta waktu itu saya udah di bandara terus tiba-tiba dapat notif sms kalau penerbangannya dibatalkan, Trus saya karena dibatalkan oleh maskapai MAS ini saya berniat memesan Tiket Airasia nah kan tiket airasia nya udah dipesan. Karena Saya sudah memesan tiket airasianya saya ada inisiatif untuk Nelpon customer servise MAS nya untuk Merefund tiket malaysia ini, namun Karena sekiranya Bahasa Inggrisnya yang sangat Bad menyebabkan ada sedikit Miscomunication, and then si Customer service nya Ini ngirim Link Refund dari E-mail saya. Saya isilah link refundnya. Kata link itu tulisannya saya terjemahin aja ya terima kasih telah mengirimkan Linknya tunggu 30 Hari Kerja. Sudah saya tunggu kan lebih dari 30 Hari, Kok belum ada Notif Email. Saya telpon lah pihak Customer servicesnya si MAS ini Pas ditelpon Si mas-masnya minta data diri dulu trus dicek lah tiket yang mau direfund ini, Setelah dicek kata masnya Ini Sorry sir, Your ticket is can't to be refund (maaf pak, tiket anda tiket anda tidak bisa direfund). Saya kesel dong Terus saya minta pertanggung jawaban tapi si mas mas Customernya Malah Ngomong Dengan Nada tinggi ''PAK TIKET BAPAK NGGAK BISA DIREFUND BISA MENGERTI TIDAK PAK" Seingat saya begitu kalau diterjemahin. Trus saya tutup aja teleponnya karena Pasrah. Pokoknya Ini maskapai Nggak recommended mending Ambil Airasia aja atau Kalau ada Maskapai Indonesia Ke Kuala Lumpur ambil aja.

It was mentioned in your video that hot drinks was not served due to bad weather. Why am i not surprised? It's becoming a normal "SOP" for MH short distance flight. Trust me, it has got nothing to do with bad weather. It's just one of their cost cutting strategies.
I flew with MH (KUL-LBN-KUL) regularly and not a single time hot drinks were ever served. Not even in a perfectly fine weather. Their excuse is....well, your guess is as good as mine.
Imagine a breakfast without hot coffee or hot tea. Its like having sex without an orgasm!
Through the years of living and travelling overseas, I had the chance to fly with numerous airlines such as Emirates, SIA, Qantas, Austria, JAL, ANA, JAS, Lufthansa, KLM, Easy Jet, South China, Virgin Blue, Air NZ, Polynesian and even AirAsia, none of these airlines has ever came out with such a lame excuse for not serving hot drinks. Well, they do take a few minutes pause during turbulence, which is perfectly understandable.
That being said, i do applaud Malaysia Airlines effort to improve the stardard of their services by sending us email for feedbacks. As a customer (and a responsible Malaysian), I do feel oblige to do my part by giving some feedback after each flight. The problem is, the only "respond" that i get in return is the same recorded announcement..."hot drinks will not be served due to bad weather".

Malaysian Airlines Flight getting worst. I experienced several times Flight from KL to Sandakan or Tawau - two and half using old boeing 737 without Inflight entertainment . Its worst than Airasia but your are paying premium. What a shame and it is understood why MAS now is ranked lowest among the carrier. Cant they do something about that !!

@@xvaierryanryan401 MH doesn't have any b734s anymore. MLF should be about 8yrs+ old. This ac is one of the earlier leased planes when they first replace 734 to 738, due to be returned this year.
Maybe due the original MH723 on that day had maintenance prob suddenly on that day and they had only the domestic 737 avail
