I've gt one of those in storage. It runs with the power supply, but battery is dead. Where did you get a new one? Or how did you restore it? Thank you in advance 🙂
This laptop was in really good condition as the previous owner used it just for 2-3 years. And the battery was still holding some charge, so I didn't have to do anything :) I think you can restore the battery by opening it and replacing the cells with new ones. If I am not mistaken (I might be!), you can use standard AA NiMH cells for replacement ones. I restored a similar battery (from Toshiba laptop) few years ago with Ladda Ikea cells and it still runs like new...
thank you for documenting these old laptops and restoring them
thanks! I am selling off them slowly... due to lack of time
I remember seeing this on display at comp USA back in the 90s. Expensive af.
Wow! Now let's run Doom
Dinosaur noises
How is it literally in brand new condition!?
wonder what happens when you open up a web browser
Cool. Is it booting off of the floppy?
I don't know but it didn't sound like it to me.
