Thank you for always mentioning Carmelcorn! That's my boyfriend's shops. It's been a very hard week for us. His dad, the owner, passed away this week. He ran those stores for 44 years. Your videos are always informative and positive!
I hope everyone hears the most important part of this video…if you don’t pay to park you may be towed!! Thank you for making this video! I think it will help a whole lot of people!
Park wherever you can legally and that Everything Auto doesn't have to tow you. If not you might just make a guest appearance on one of their videos. Thanks M & K!👍
Great video for folks that don't know, very informative! I've been visiting since 1979, usually 2-3 trips per year. We were down in Sept. and Nov., got to meet our heroes (Everything Autos) both times. I'm addicted to their videos! Y'all should meet up some day, Jeff and Kristen are awesome people, just like family you only see a few times per year. If you're not staying in the Burg, the Visitor's Center to park and ride the Trolley in is a good option. Riding the Trolley is the only bargain in the area! We have even ridden it out to Food City for a few groceries. I enjoy all your videos!
Great video now I know other places to park. I sometimes park at the city garage it was $10.00 all day but now I know more.. Thanks have a good day and Gos Bless
Ohhh you got SO CLOSE to our go to parking lot. Just across from the very last mention is St Mary’s Church! It’s directly behind the Convention Center. JUST $5 donation to the church. Honor system by tag number.
What a great idea to cover all the different parking locations in town - definitely a helpful video! Thanks so much for putting this together and taking us along. Love the channel!!!
We have went to Gatlinburg at least a dozen times in the last 25 years. Have never paid for parking. Always park on river road. Gotta watch the signs and respond appropriately but we have never had a problem doing so.
We were just down there for Christmas. Love it. Can’t wait to move back down there but this time we will live closer to Gatlinburg. We always park in the public parking garage. It started out being $5 then $6 now we paid $10 in December. But still a great place to park and walk the Beautiful Town of Gatlinburg.
Thanks for letting us know some different parking options. You also made us aware our most used lot is now $15. It used to be $5 and then 7 or 8. Big junp going to $15. Happy 2022!
Thank you for this video after watching Everything Autos You Tube channel will tell you if your not paying for parking you may get towed. Wanted to come but it seems so packed all the time and getting reservations seems impossible unless your months ahead. Love your channel.
Parking is abundant and easy to find if you're driving slow enough and are observant or you've been many times and know your way around. One big thing to consider is the size of your vehicle. If you've got a bigger (long) SUV or a larger truck like myself, some of these parking lots are very tight and turning can be a pain as well as backing out of the spots. Along the same lines, parallel parking on the less busy streets is an option but you'll need to consider that the cars are literally end to end and can make getting your big rig out quite a pain.
Was there in early Feb, during the off season. As long as you keep an eye on the routes and times, The trolley is a wonderful option too and it was completely free when i went. Get on at the welcome center (which is also free to park at) and get off at the aquarium, super simple and great value as its free. Only thing is if you end up missing the last ride at night you're kinda outta luck unless you get uber
That is nice of y'all to post this info. We went for Christmas and it was very crowded and about half the places were closed on Christmas eve and Christmas. So we did not get to go to The Peddler or The Donut Friar as we planned, but we did go to the Skybridge this time and our favorite mexican...No Way Jose's and we stayed walking distance from the strip which was nice.
This is so very helpful I'm actually going there second week in April and to there until also pigeon forge so knowing what prices are and what to expect in that area is very helpful.. Thank you
@@FridaysForever weird question? Do you know anywhere in pigeon forge or Gatlinburg where we can store luggage? Being the tourist that we are we're probably going to get there before we can check in to our Airbnb so I don't want to leave all our luggage in the car.
I've been watching Everything Autos video's. Somehow the You tube algorithm brought me to this video. So weird. They tow people in Gatlinburg and you guys show where they should have parked.
Let's meet at trishas for breakfast looked yummy. Can you me where you were with the cabins along the river and elk.I teach social studies so looking for living history. 💙
Hardly ever have to pay for parking in Gatlinburg as we always stay at Jack Huffs Motor Lodge on Cherokee Orchard Road which you showed in the video. Thanks so much for sharing.
Another great video. I haven’t been to Gatlinburg in years but when I did go I would park for free at the Welcome Center between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and take the trolley into Gatlinburg. Do they still have that service? God bless.
Everything Auto will tow you if you park illegal. Pay the $20.00 to park downtown or $250.00 if you get tow. Love watching them pull some out wow. Thank you for telling people about parking so when visitors come they won't get towed,

I have come to realize that the best parking in Gatlinburg is at the creek side. You have to parallel park but it's free parking. Sometimes it can be hard to find a parking spot but I have been there when it's fairly busy and always find one. All the other parking areas will cost you between 10 and 20 dollars which is ridiculous!
Thanks for the video. Can you explain maybe in a video how the bus system works, like if a elderly couple Park but can't walk the whole strip can we ride a tram/bus down the strip and get on and off all day ? What are some tips for people visiting Gatlinburg but can't walk to see everything. It would stink to have to pay $20 several times to see the strip from one end to the other .
The Gatlinburg strip is only 1 mile long. You wouldn’t need to ride the tram or move your vehicle. If you’re wanting to explore Pigeon Forge too, the trolly does go there too so you can ride from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge and back. Pigeon Forge is a lot bigger and not easily walkable but there’s usually plenty of parking wherever you’re wanting to go.

What would be the best area for us to park to access the town? Also, how long does it take to take a walk through town? Well one last question lol As far as the trolley system goes, what do you think about it? Would you recommend finding a parking lot that’s central to everything over using the trolley? Thank you and look forward to more of your videos!!
Hi Scott! Thank you for watching our adventures. We have a video in our library about where to park in Gatlinburg that would be helpful. About time to walk through town - it depends on how many stops you make haha. From Ole Reds - Anakeesta area to entrance of National Park about 30min. We like having our car close by so we don't use the trolly. It is a good choice if camping. Hope this helps.
@@FridaysForever ok sounds good I’m going to go through more of your videos before we leave. Looks like most of the places we want to visit are near Fanny Farkles so I’m looking at that $2 an hour parking option. Most of our time will be at Dollywood and driving through the National Park lol
Thank you Mike and Karen for that great info of where you can and can't park in Gatlinburg. What did you mean by pay by your vehicles plate? Thank you and take care.
There's a big parking lot behind Calhoun's Village where Cherokee Grill/Calhoun's/Smoky Mtn Brewery is located. It's $10 or free if you show a receipt from one of the businesses in Calhoun Village. When we were there a couple of months ago, the collection booth wasn't manned, so it was basically free parking.
That very last parking option (for $10) is vague to me. Can you explain where that is, better? I'm looking at a map of Gatlinburg and I cannot find where this parking lot is. Cannot find an "Airport Rd". "Mother Nature Trail" or Motor Nature Trail? Thank you.
@@FridaysForever I found it. It's at Historic Nature Trail [Rd] at Belle Aire Lane. I had to do the Google street walk and recognize the Belle Aire Hotel building behind you.
. The parking issues lately have sent us to Pigeon Forge or to a hotel in Gatlinburg on the trolly route. I figure it’s worth a little extra on the room not to have to deal with all that foolishness.
Love going to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge but not handicapped friendly the sidewalks are cracked and damaged and then the stones sidewalks I came close of tripping and falling over my Walker because it would get stuck And as my health deteriorates I don't think I can bring my wheelchair down there unfortunately because it was my favorite place to go
@@FridaysForever It was not because they were small . The sidewalks were in bad condition cracks so many and I would say 70% My husband I actually saw a lady fall but anyways I hope I can make it back one day I need to try the restaurant the Mill the lines were crazy so that tells me the food must be good

Some do have parking but it's limited.
Great video. Question, which of the parking lots can you use cash versus credit card?
Thank so much. We are not sure about your question.
@@FridaysForever We don't use credit cards so just wanted to know if they all take cash.
@@LifewithMountainFolk We are not sure so sorry.
Hey Mike and Karen I'm back from New Orleans I'm back in East Tennessee like to meet up with y'all one day
Hi Terry! Great, we will let you know when we are around.
Is handicap parking free?
That very last parking option (for $10) is vague to me. Can you explain where that is, better? I'm looking at a map of Gatlinburg and I cannot find where this parking lot is. Cannot find an "Airport Rd". "Mother Nature Trail" or Motor Nature Trail? Thank you.
Yes, it's off Motor Nature Trail.
@@FridaysForever I found it. It's at Historic Nature Trail [Rd] at Belle Aire Lane. I had to do the Google street walk and recognize the Belle Aire Hotel building behind you.
Too bad Christ of the smokies closed and they don’t do the $5 all day parking anymore. 😫thanks for the info guys !
Is that the church where the skilift goes over?
We agree! Our pleasure.
@@jessicadale7556 yes. it was a museum.
. The parking issues lately have sent us to Pigeon Forge or to a hotel in Gatlinburg on the trolly route. I figure it’s worth a little extra on the room not to have to deal with all that foolishness.
Thanks for sharing!
Love going to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge but not handicapped friendly the sidewalks are cracked and damaged and then the stones sidewalks I came close of tripping and falling over my Walker because it would get stuck
And as my health deteriorates I don't think I can bring my wheelchair down there unfortunately because it was my favorite place to go
We understand. The sidewalks are pretty small with the amount of people on them. Hopefully you can make it back one day.
@@FridaysForever It was not because they were small . The sidewalks were in bad condition cracks so many and I would say
70% My husband I actually saw a lady fall but anyways I hope I can make it back one day I need to try the restaurant the Mill the lines were crazy so that tells me the food must be good
