Glad to see you kept your tradition of a cook up at video end, even if it was the next day! This is what keeps me coming back for more! Awesome as always!
I really enjoy how you "wing it" when cooking your catch on site when you forget something that you need. Believe me, we've all done it more than once. Another great video. Keep up the GREAT work and Thank You.
Another BANGER video from you, I absolutely love all of your videos and I’ve learned how to cook fish and fish because of you, today I caught and cooked a 12 inch wild Rainbow Trout and it was delicious because of your videos
You are so cool dude. I will bet you made the kid that sent you the drawings year. You conduct your self in a exemplory manner and you deserve much respect. AND YOU GOT MINE.
You are so fortunate to be able to fish without another angler in sight. I used to fish one lake in the hills above Lake Castaic approximately 3600 feet elevation. Spring time was incredible for big rainbows and kokane that averaged 2 to 3 pounds. To be able to fish this lake from the shore and rarely see another angler, was unbelievabe considering the lake is in So. California. Sadly during a drought in the late 80s, the lake dried up. So much for my hidden jewel.
Those fish are beauties. They like they're salamanders in that pond. Wonder if smaller size soft plastic bass fishing salamanders would be clutch in there. I'd almost assume a rapala painted with a salamander pattern would be a good add to the tacklebox. Great video like always. Loved it.
Loved the video keep doing that stuff you will get better on those type of rivers more you float them just gotta send and learn . Those spots between every rapids u want to pick apart that’s where you will catch biggest smallmouth promise
I was born in Santa Maria, Ca. Tri Tip capital of the world. Susie Q brand is the best. If you see that stuff getcha sum. We use it on everything in our house. Tight lines !!
hey @Bass n trout i dont know if you live near the coast or not but there is a fish called a sea run cuttthroat trout been catching 16 inch fish in the river everyday been doing catch and cook every night.Love the content keep it up!
Awesome video dude ! Those were some really nice Rainbows. I think you had the right idea about smoking some ! Not sure if I told you before, but I put my original on smoked trout. Beautiful scenery and great fishing. Sweet !
There are programs that can restore deleted files from SD cards. The actually work very well. I fly drones and have deleted videos I have made with my drone and used one of those programs to retrieve the files. Sometimes the videos are all mixed up but you still can salvage most of it. Also I find using bait that looks like what they feed on in a lake, river or pond will produce lots of fish.
Sigh. It’s whatever. I think it’s all gone now. Thank goodness it wasn’t a video where I caught a 10 pound tiger trout or something. I could probably remake the video pretty easily. Hopefully.
The next time you read my home towns ingredients out loud I might need to send some of boys after ya 😂😂 We don't share the seasons of Santa maria it's a very guarded secret
Dang that rainbow looked straight up gourmet bro! Imagine how that trout would taste fire roasted on a stick??! Lets see a primitive bush cook up right by the water. Your vids are dope! LIKE BUTTON SMASHED!
Same story for me man. I was a loyal Rapala guy myself. Went out with a buddy one day on a river, he used a dynamic and I used a Rapala. He caught 3× the amount of fish I did, and I was getting frustrated. Anyway, next time we went out I brought a dynamic with me.... haven't used a Rapala since.
When fishing the green river, you can tell if it's a brown or rainbow before you see it. Rainbows fight a lot harder and will come out of the water. Browns head for the bottom.
Not sure where you are at, but most places catching salamanders and using it for bait would be illegal. But I bet a zoom lizard will or something would get crushed out there. Hell I’d tip to see something like that. Haha
Well what you can do is look it up and see your salamanders all legal to use if not go to one of those tackle shops like Dick's Sporting Goods and I think Galt might have them the little rubber salamanders they got a scent on them and especially different gulp that might do the trick
Several people in my FB fishing group are sponsored by them. My friend Miguel slay pike with them as well as Wiper. Great company and their really nice people as well. I dropped a link to your video in my group as well so that should put some more eyes on your video. I love your content so the least I can do is share it out.
My man you better have a diamond stone on standby to sharpen your knife, because that cast iron just destroyed the edge on your blade. Seriously though if you want to send me your knives I’ll make them hair popping sharp
Hey man! There’s a small group of UA-camrs getting together in October for a friendly fishing tournament collaboration. Would you be interested? Four teams of two UA-camrs each. The team that can catch the greatest variety of different species win.
That would be truly GREAT unless you catch stocked trout in Iowa. I stopped eating them years ago meat is a mushy no flavor wash out, they're reared in hatcheries on pelts and they aren't worth eating unless you doctor them with so much spices that you can't even taste the fish it self
Still fat from the high protein pellets they're eating at the hatchery that why it's still tasty. I caught some hold over they loss their body fats and don't really taste that great.
That's cute he sent you drawings.
Glad to see you kept your tradition of a cook up at video end, even if it was the next day! This is what keeps me coming back for more! Awesome as always!
Heck yeah. At least most of the time we gotta squeeze a catch n cook in there!
You have one of the best catch n cook channels on yt...thanks for sharing your adventures

More to come!

Thanks for watching!
Another BANGER video from you, I absolutely love all of your videos and I’ve learned how to cook fish and fish because of you, today I caught and cooked a 12 inch wild Rainbow Trout and it was delicious because of your videos
We have a lake here in Idaho with giant stocked trout with salmon colored meat. Best tasting trout I’ve had in Idaho!
You are so cool dude. I will bet you made the kid that sent you the drawings year. You conduct your self in a exemplory manner and you deserve much respect. AND YOU GOT MINE.

I’ve talked to some people from California and they’ve told me of some very remote lakes up in the sierra’s that don’t get visited all that much..
So sweet. Awesome drawing!
Yes it was!
Those are some good fightin stockers wasn’t expecting that meat color either! Looks awesome!

Yeah plastics would probably do really good in there
Top tier video 👏👏
Thanks 🤙
Another fantastic video. Keep up the good work.
Great video. I loved the drawings. Your legend continues to grow.

Love your vid man
Thank you!
Another good video, you make them look easy. Thanks!
Thanks!
Those drawings from Kaz are awesome. Great job Kaz!!!
Sorry if I spelled your name wrong. 😇
Dynamic Lures are my go to but I just recently lost all my lures I had in a box. But that just means buying more. Fish on
Awesome video dude ! Those were some really nice Rainbows. I think you had the right idea about smoking some ! Not sure if I told you before, but I put my original on smoked trout. Beautiful scenery and great fishing. Sweet !
I want to do another trout smoking video soon! What is the exact recipe you use? Just your rub, or do you cover it in brown sugar to?
I just use my rub. Put it inside and out, because of the skin. I smoke mine until dry. Good luck brah !
I feel you on the deleted footage. It has happened to me a few times. SUPER frustrating
Yeah could be worse. Didn’t catch any giant fish and I could probably remake it pretty easy.
Did you remove pin bones? Also how do you remove the slime?
what spinning rods do you use
Nice fishing 🎣
Thanks 👍

Thanks! You too!
Love these vids better than fly fishing.
Glad you like them!

Haha I would probably butcher that recipe😅

We’ll see if they can send me some🤞
When fishing the green river, you can tell if it's a brown or rainbow before you see it. Rainbows fight a lot harder and will come out of the water. Browns head for the bottom.
Yep I’ve noticed that to. Browns don’t jump as often
👍
🤘
👍👍🎣🎣

Where is this where you're catching these? Trout
we would love a salamader video
It’s illegal☹️

Use a live stringer. Can always let them go later.
I heard after Morgan Wallen cut his hair your DMs have been blowing up?
Please do a trout smoking vid! That would be awesome!
It’s been a while.. maybe we’ll try it again!
Are u fishing in Washington state?
Somewhere out there
You should’ve added lemon zest to it
Day 1 asking for collab
Swallow a whole clove a day, keeps the mosquitoes away, lived in Mexico for months I did that, super healthy and bug free😉
Ehh I don’t know if I could do that. Swallow it maybe. If the health benefits really are great maybe I could get used to it.
@@bassntroutfishing not as gross as it sounds, quick swallow and it's done 😉 plus all that butter and vegetable will catch up one day😀
Can you repost an address to send you something your way. Keep up the great videos.
The address is in the “about” section on my channel page. Thank you!
Rainbow trout skin does not taste good but brook and cutthroat trout skin tastes great.
I guess we’ll give it another try 🙄
The Dynamic HD lures are made only 1 hour from me and their lethal.
Same. They’re not to bad

Don't touch the bright salamanders

Four teams of two UA-camrs each. The team that can catch the greatest variety of different species win.
Not in Oregon
Better put some line on that reel dude.
Just did😅

Make an official tiktok bro. So many people use your clips fir views.
Cross breeds
Agreed fish skin is 🤮
Yep
Still fat from the high protein pellets they're eating at the hatchery that why it's still tasty. I caught some hold over they loss their body fats and don't really taste that great.
