This is a very thorough and easy to follow tutorial on hinges! I watched because I have a friend struggling and will send her your link. I do prefer your way with the 2 inches on each end that attaches to the book, the other way you risk it coming away from the spine which has happened, I watched another tutorial where this happened and she explained how to fix it and the solution for permanency is to have the 1 or 2 inch wing on each end. Which I have done for years now on all my albums! Thanks for sharing this very easy to follow hinge!
It’s an awesome hinge system and can be used in two or three ways to attach the pocket pages. I’ve been using it for years. You make it look easy. The first few times I tried to use it I messed up! Wasted some paper. Their is another crafter who has a good hinge system as well but I can’t remember her name now ( few years ago and I’m old lol) it’s a good Lo one as well. Happy scrapping. Thanks for the reply.

Hi Anita, Thank you, yes, I feel more secure having the wings which I feel do help secure it.
