Here are a few new questions: in our latest podcast episode, I describe seeing a 6 month old colt who seemed to stand out from the others due to his confidence and personality. Kenny has talked about how he assesses conformation when purchasing young horses, but does personality also enter into his buying decisions, and if so then how does he assess that? When Kenny spoke in this episode about the filly he once trained who was so mean towards humans, he mentioned that she had been trained by someone else before she came to him. Can horses negative experiences early on be compensated for through certain training methods or caretaking? Does he have any favorite stories to share in that regard?
If Rendering Judgment wins the Kentucky Derby, how will the announcer do a stretch call? It is too hard to say his name!! Msybe the McPeek children could come up with names?
