God this game always kept me on edge when playing I know the game is getting smack like Gollum but will you make a Video of the Skull Island game once it comes out after the other videos?

I had this game for the Xbox. I had the special edition which had Doom 1 & Doom 2 in it. Playing Doom 3 with the lights off, and then someone comes into your house (my case, it was my wife at the time), I jumped off the couch, scared the hell outta me. Having to choose between a flashlight or gun in dark areas, made the game scary as hell, as well as the sound, the sound was great in this game, really built the mood.
I finally found this game, I was terrified as a kid too and I always wanted to try and find the game because I had forgotten it’s name and I just had some random memories spliced together. It’s weird to see the game I was terrified of and remember in a cloudy memory how it looks now. Idk just very nostalgic and nice to know somebody else had the same experience. For some reason I remembered it being called Hell 3
When this initially came out, I was a little underwhelmed because it was slower, and more focused on _horror._ Not really what I expected from a return to Doom. A few years ago I replayed it, though, and I have to say, I really appreciate this game now. Not just for it being a showcase for the IdTech4 engine, but also for using the "the world is going to *hell* in front of your face" atmosphere, similar to Half Life, and the world-building of games like System Shock.
@@sonicthelegend8741I don’t know much of how they differ, but I know in the oiriginal Doom 3 you couldn’t hold a gun and use the lantern at the same time. So I guess BFG edition is like an easier version. Same story and all, just gameplay changes
28:20 mortified me as a 12 year old for like a week. When that scene hit, I remember being scared BAD that there’d be demon portals and demon skulls possessing everyone
I remember stopping at my local game store Play & Trade, and seeing the box art for this game and just immediately grabbing it and buying it. This game may be the black sheep of the Doom franchise but it’s got a special place in my heart, plus that soundtrack and theme is just fantastic. Nine Inch Nails were originally going to do it but ended up doing Quake, which is also great, but instead we got Tweeker and honestly it’s pretty good. And that adds up because Tweeker was formed by Chris Vrenna who was a drummer for nin, which is why you can definitely hear a good industrial rock nin sound in it.
I don't know why it took me all these years to see Deadspace is just this entire game!!!! I cant bring myself to play first person shooters anymore but man this game was so much fun to watch being played again! Thanks bro!
I played this game on my former computer about two decades ago or on my 13th birthday in 7th grade. I had a 2.2 ghz Pentium 4 processor with Windows 2000, 512 mb ram, an AMD Radeon 8500 64 mb video ram graphics card, Direct X 9 sound system, and a DVD drive and put it on lowest settings. I averaged somewhere between 15-20 fps on that game. It was barely playable on that computer but enjoyable. The graphics were ahead of it's time and it was scary at times. Good times playing that game.
Doom 3 is the most realistic iteration of the games, basically a retelling of the original game. The original game had a bit of a horror vibe as well just not as much as this game did.
I've got 2 get this game on my ps5. I played it on the xbox n it was awesome. Never completed it. But its such a classic game. Love all thd doom games. Started playing Doom (2016) n downloaded Doom eternal. Can't wait for Doom:the dark ages 2 come out next year. Bring on the gore
I hope they add different game modes in this game like after you finished the game story you can still choose a different mode like , survival : try to survive with hordes if xombies demons and monsters , second , there's a multiplayer but a deathmatch with Computer enemies like a counterstrike would be cool . And attack and defend , you can choose to be a demon or a space marine , ihope they bring life to this game again
Hello guys, I would like to whether doom 4 works smoothly in the below mentioned system requirements for pc Intel Core i3 3220 3.3ghz 8gb ram Nvidia GeForce 4gb ddr3
HEY you know I do not recognize some of these levels and ALSO where are the ending HELL levels? Where is is lava everywhere and you are going between DEATH rooms? How come you do not play those? Where ???? DID THE UPDATE AND THE DLC change all these things?
Well, this game when I got it when it first came out was awesome, but what has been done in this playthrough for lore and immersion was kinda crap.... we wanna hear the pdf's clear and the comms between characters, otherwise this game makes no sense.
My friend, a walkthrough is no commentary, just enjoying a game. If anything, him finding every secret is justified, since it's related to the game dumbass

This shit made me shit myself when i played the game in my younger age, after I've finished it I've played once again and felt like Doomguy.

I think you felt like a doomshit😆
Same
Same broski
Halfway in I'm starting to realize how much the original Dead Space is like Doom 3.

I prefer this Doom more than eternal and 2016.
NGL, doom 3 really gives Half life vibes, n i love it

Apart from the way when they say that, make too much reference of our generation and how the world is going these days. Pretty impressive.
have recently finished the game. Such a masterpiece.
This is the "BFG Edition" of Doom 3, mind you.
What's the difference between the og and bfg edition btw

I wish they would make a modern Doom game like this, I much prefer this style over the arena style.
Oh naah doom 2016 and eternal is GOATED
They definitely should make one like Doom 3 where you're not slayer. It will be interesting to fight from normal human's perspective
That time Doom was a survival horror game. With a wonky shotgun.
I actually like the shotgun
Still a pretty damn good-looking game 20 years on. Even better at resolutions and frame rates higher than were possible back then.
4:16:24 this is what defines the word overkill.
Doom is still one of my favorite games I haven't even played this one yet
Highly recommend you do if you haven't already
Play it, it's good. Not like the other games though
This game is different from the rest but it plays well. I like how it did the interaction with screens in game.

Everyone saying if there was a demon apocalypse they would be doom eternals doom guy but in reality they would be like doom 3s guy
1:09:57 Let's start with this scene. thank you.
5:01:55 Unforgettable moment.
We also know where Dead Space came from. I wish the volume was slightly louder, not to easy too hear this playthrough.
Looking at the thumbnail does this include the DLC's as well?
NO RESSURECTION OF EVIL AND LOST MISSION IS NOT ADDED

Just bought this for like £3 on Switch
it's 2024 and this game still looks awesome
This and rage 1 are games I have to play once a year no matter what. For some odd reason I just feel the need to play them.
I love the aesthetic of the game

Doom 1 and 2 have never been remade. They have been ported a hell of a lot of times though!
