Om Mani Padme Hum is a well-loved Buddhist mantra commonly translated as, "The jewel is in the lotus." ... It is because every one of the Buddha's teachings is believed to reside within this one powerful mantra. It is repeated over and over again to invoke the loving and unconditional qualities of compassion.
Wow I've chanted along with this 300 times. I'd never look at the screen to see that there is a counter in the middle counting our mantra to 108. Practicing the montra at 1.5 speed is something I've found to be useful. It sounds great and is a more upbeat flow. Wonder video, it has helped me so much, it means the world to me thank you thank you thank you

六字大明咒是觀音菩薩的名號，是名號咒語。
觀音菩薩是諸佛菩薩大悲心的總集，
這樣一位總集諸佛菩薩大悲事業力量的菩薩，
這個咒語也就成為一種真言，也就是諦實語，
是有力量的真實語言。
由於觀音菩薩具有不可思議的大悲力量，
這個咒語就是具有力量的真言、咒語。
因此經典說這個咒語的利益非常廣大。
一般來說，這個咒語有六類六個利益。
因為有六個咒字，就有六個利益，而這樣的利益有六類：
圓滿六度
第一類六個利益，是六度圓滿的利益，
「嗡」字是佈施度的圓滿，「瑪」字是持戒度的圓滿，「呢」是忍辱度的圓滿，「唄」是精進度的圓滿，
「美」是禪定度的圓滿，「吽」是智慧度的圓滿。
六字圓滿具備六度的力量，六字體現了六度的內涵。
清淨六道
第二類六個利益，是清淨六道痛苦的利益。
後面我們會再提到清淨六道痛苦的觀想。
總之，「嗡」字消除天道的痛苦，
「瑪」字消除阿修羅道的痛苦，「呢」消除人道的痛苦，「唄」消除餓鬼道的痛苦，「美」消除畜生道的痛苦，「吽」消除地獄道的痛苦。
圓滿六事業
第三類六個利益，是圓滿共同、殊勝兩種成就，
並達成息增懷誅四種事業，或者說是圓滿世間、
出世間等等成就的利益。
「嗡」是代表圓滿殊勝的成就，「瑪」是圓滿共同的成就，「呢」是消除疾病、魔障、障礙的成就（息），
「唄」是增長壽命、福德的成就（增），
「美」是懷攝三界的成就（懷），
「吽」是降伏敵人、誅滅障礙的成就（誅）。
再說一次，嗡字象徵圓滿殊勝的成就，
瑪是圓滿共同的成就，接著四個咒字，
分別代表圓滿共同成就當中的息、增、懷、誅等等
支分的成就。
清淨六根本煩惱
第四類六個利益，
是清淨貪、瞋、痴等等六種根本煩惱的利益。
「嗡」清淨愚痴，「瑪」清淨瞋心，「呢」清淨吝嗇，「唄」清淨貪欲，「美」清淨嫉妒，「吽」清淨傲慢。
獲得六功德
第五類六個利益，
是得到身、口、意、功德、事業等等功德的利益。
「嗡」得到身的功德，「瑪」得到語的功德，
「呢」得到心的功德，「唄」得到功德的功德，
「美」得到事業的功德，「吽」得到什麼呢？
是得到觀音菩薩身、口、意、功德、事業的完整功德。
證得五道及佛果
第六類六個利益，是配合五道、十地當中的五道的利益，
也就是資糧道、加行道、見道、修道、無學道等等五道，
然後最後是得到遍知的功德。
這裡的無學道的功德，
和遍知的功德差別在哪裡？
這還有許多思考、討論的空間。
總之，從利益、目的性的角度，
從能詮、所詮等等各種角度等等方面來看，
六字大明咒包含了一切要義。
