Mid-October is a hectic month with progress reports and parent teacher conferences. Long division is challenging because the students have to be as close as possible to the dividend, or their difference becomes greater than their divisor. The partial quotient helps to create number sense, but some students do not know how to apply it to standard long division. Thank you for your video presentation. Take care.
