- In the latest issue of Augusta Outdoors, Rob Pavey talks about the Heddon Lure Company and some of the earliest fishing lures. Starting as a small, in-home operation in Michigan, the Heddon Lure Company grew into a giant fishing lure manufacturer in the early 1900s. If you love to fish, or even if you love history and American inventors, this story will definitely interest you.
I catch big big trout with his flat fish.... I love this story and his lures have been passed down... Thank You for preserving this Gem of America...
Amazing past . Thx Mr Hedden, for all you've done .
Damn I wish you were still making videos you deserve so much more clout thank you for your knowledge
Wow amazing video!! I’m a pretty serious angler, and still to this day have and regularly USE one old beat up Heddon lure(top water Spook, usually last lure of the day towards dusk) they were a lot more popular when I was younger but now these days you just don’t see them for sale really anymore such a shame....
as a young boy in the 70s and early 80s digging thru the dumpster of the heddon plant in Dowagiac mi, I wish I knew then what I know now
Amazing video love watching this
Great video
out standing you did real good
Nice! Well reported.
Nice content
"is there a limit on how many of those species youre taking as bait?
nice
Caught a lot of bass years ago on the sonic and super sonic
I recently grabbed a couple Heddon Tiger lures, having gotten mad at Rapala and Rebel lol! The Rapalas swim right but tear up easy. The Rebels don’t swim right. The Tiger lures definitely won’t tear up lol they’re made like bricks. And they swim right. Unfortunately the construction makes them a tad heavy. So I’m still looking to replace Rapala and Rebel for my bream fishing.
Good good.....
I wish that they would bring back the river runt spooks
DA WAH JAC !
I enjoyed the lure video; there are some really great videos about collecting lures and other fishing tackle, on UA-cam!
In the USA!...♥_★_♥
