Thank you for the amazing explanation. I've been recently daignosed with Cerebral venous thrombosis. I was suffering from serious thunderclap headache for around 25 days , later I had fallen on ground and developed Diplopia from Next day, the opthalmologist made a daignosis of Papillary edema and referred to Internal medicine ward where I was suggested for MRI venography which revealed I had blocks at my Superior sagittal sinus , Transverse sinus and straight sinus , they have given me Mannitol to reduce Intracranial pressure, i was in good care in ICU gradually the pain is less now but still dealing with diplopia which is the hardest part for me . Doctors also prescribed me LMW heparin injection twice per day ,now I'm at home taking acitrom 4 mg daily to maintain INR score between 2.5-3 and maintaining high fluid intakes , Hope I will get soon !
@@earningkiduniya-k2z thanks for asking I am fine now , not completely recovered but my diplopia is resolved and didn't had any similar headache like before from a long time, earlier while doing some moderate activities , I had palpitations like feeling inside my head and ears , doctors explained that it was due to Increased pressure in the dural venous sinuses , over the time this palpitations thing also get reduced but it's not completely resolved yet at this point , this could be happen maybe because more collateral need to form or there must be some clots which are still present in the sinuses. So far there is no issue in doing any regular day to day activity for me. I am very thankful to my God , family and doctors for taking good care of me. 🙏🏻
@@earningkiduniya-k2z No , not for lifetime , I need to adjust the dose of my anticoagulants ( blood thinner ) medicines for the targeted INR range that is 2-3. If it goes beyond 3 I need to shift to the lower dose . Generally lifetime bloodthinners are not recommended in cases similar to mine .
tysm for this video. it's super accurate. i was diagnosed with CVT on june 21st this year at just 24 years old. turns out i have hyper-coagulative blood and was on oral contraceptives which was determined to be the cause. ty for making this video it was very informative and helped me understand what exactly i went through :)
Im diagnosed cvt. Over a year to learn to talk. Thank the lord I am alive and well now. My wife died of a stroke and I thought I was a goner a they said I would never talk again an it I wouldn’t be able to work. So the next day I found someone to translate for me an I started remodeling houses by myself. I can go at me own speed and I can’t go up high like I did as an Ironworker local 29. But I can sing better than I talk lyrics take along time to memorize the movements and the words. Thanks for the input.
Thankyou for great explanation. i've been diagnosed CVST 1 month ago. i often get a headache but 3 months after my second pregnancy its getting worse and i got vertigo, dizzines, nausea and vomit . i think it's bppv from perifer for 1 year but its getting worse, i searching second and third opinion from other neurologist and get MRI, MRV and MRV. and here i am, consumed warfarin for 1 month :))
What kind of vertigo did you get? I’m getting an uneasy wobbly feeling not necessarily spinning but I am sick with a headache and thrown up everyday and no one can find why
Me as a normal(non medical background) people, received AZ and had severe headache and pain in arm hope to understand all those term use in signs and symptoms part
Hey @@betablockrr, sorry for the late reply.. the day after vaccine is the worse.. cause it(headache) came with high fever.. i cant even sit up cause my head hurt so much.. i need to put wet towel on my head during my sleep then i can get up for like 5 minutes without pain, then the headache just come again after that.. next day no fever but still severe headache, like i cant move my head or it hurt so much.. then next day the pain reduce.. can move my head better.. and maybe like after 5 day, no longer having headache
What where your symptoms and for how long did you have them for because I have had a headache since I gave birth but MRI and CT scans come back good but I have a headache all day every day it’s been 2 months
@@veronicamontes6837 it actually hit me outta nowhere. I had the worst headache I had ever had and nobody could find the reason. I had to go to 3 hospitals before they found it. Your baby needs you 🙏🏽❤️
@@parbatadahal2009 I was put on LOVENOX injections and WARFARIN pills. I was removed from the LOVENOX 2 months after we finally got my INR under control. I'm still currently on WARFARIN and will be for the rest of my life. Please be careful when it comes to covid. I got it in September and my INR has been off the charts because of it! @@L3xLocs Where was your pain? 9 days after COVID vaccine I had severe pain at top center of skull for 4 days and now on/off headache, but not as severe. Do you think normal D-Dimer test will rule out CVST, but it has been 5 months?
Aoa brothrr i am farooq from pakistan. I am suffering cvst since july 2017. I have got latest test of MRI brain, CT scan etc. sister kindly send your watsap so that i could send my report to you
