Watched this video, went straight into a ranked game and absolutely carried ending the game with 21/5/6 and 62k damage in a 30min game. For those wondering it was a high emerald / low diamond elo. I'm a grasp azir player and when I saw the thumbnail I thought wait no way that's the best setup, but after watching the video you convinced me and I will be playing conqueror in my next game
Im close to reaching 1 mil on Azir now and i realized this season after tons of games how i had to play selfish its how u create your leads. However, this is also how I’ve lost a majority of my games when ahead or even. A lot of teammates will tilt easily and will soft feed so even tho u should play selfishly majority of the time, consider roaming to ensure your mates dont soft grief. Now i never abused the shitty grasp bs, i used hob majority of the time with nash/shadowflame before the nerfs and now, theres pretty much nothing better than conq which is unfortunate, the hob nerf is enough to where its not worth it early game.
im ngl im kinda hardstuck azir on emerald/dia, but i am definitly gonna try to use the tips and see if i can improve my gameplay! Ty for the lovely guide! and I hope i can see more of these :3 Kind regards, Rosey :3
I thought my azir would end up being trashed and officially dead after lethal tempo got removed but because of this content it opens new but a powerful opportunity to bring back life to the shurima`s emperor azir. The shurima never left the summoners rift
I love the idea of shadow flame rush but instead of building shadow flame to snowball il rush zhonyas as my emergency item well your elo is higher than mine so the environment and rotation is different my jg itself doesnt know how to play with strong lanes so i just adopt the idea if 5 members of the teams would jump and you know gold elo is the home of what we called "ALL IN THE ISOLATED" so zhonyas really works especially side lanning objectives.
Whats the standard build path you recommend and can i ask why you'll build sorcerer boots first instead of getting nashors first? Im learning azir and im doing badly atm so tips and builds help
hey mate, I rushed sorcs in this game because I took a bad recall - meaning I didn't base on a cannon wave. the only purpose was to use extra movespeed to get back to lane faster and not miss out on exp from the first 3 melee creeps of the coming wave. nashors rush is absolutely a better option than boots, if you can get a favorable recall to not miss any creeps. just keep playing and you'll get better!! the champ takes a lot of time to learn.
Btw you might want to know that shadowflame crit dmg increase on soldier AAs doesnt work, already tested while ago, it did only 20% dmg increase not 30 :/
wow ur right I just double checked it in practice tool, only 20% why is that the case??? It literally says that the azir soldier is considered a "Pet" on the wiki leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Azir/LoL#Pets cheers for letting me know mate
@@fightozzz yup i was also disappointed by this since i played a lot of azir in arena before shadowflame was reworked and there is augment "Minionmancer" (increases damage of your minions/pets by 50%) which works on azirs soldiers.
whats the point of fleet into assassins? you aren't sustaining anything, if you get hit by zed combo its a skill issue and a 30 hp heal from fleet isnt going to change the 250 hp chunk you just took. At least with conqueror you can facetank his combo and dash forward into him like a chad into hard ranged matchups that poke you fleet can make sense like hwei for example, if you dash on him you get feared anyway so conqueror has less value that matchup
@@Azir0909 yone for sure conqueror, you cant win the sustain war against second wind dshield champs but you can absolutely all in them with the AP from conq

I never know the thing about getting stacks before dashing in, guess that's why I'm stuck with lethal tempo. Very informative video brother.
yeh the conqueror stacking just gives you such a clear indicator of when to dash in and when not to, makes the game feel so much simpler to play
