Ya’ll didn’t read the instructions on those brushes lol. They came with a rod in which you place on either line 1 or like 2 for the grade of your hair. You then rake the bottom of your hair vertically and move up until it’s all Detangled. Once all detangled, you can brush horizontally.
It works great on my 4B/4C hair and my daughters 4C hair.
    Try it again!

Try the 7 row denman brush. You can take out 4 of them (1st put hot water on the rubber and use a rat tail comb to push the end upwards. I highly recommend watching yt vids about this since the rubber part is difficult to pull out). Use only 3 rows and use aloe vera or conditioner with the brush. It helps detangle my hair with ease. Buy it on Sally beauty tho it's cheaper.

But I agree with you both! I just think that having people’s skin color in the title of videos are absolutely pointless. It’s almost like a disclaimer.. Like ups, warning it’s only going to be black people in this video! And it’s so stupid!

Definitely the Felicia brush. This knockoff come with extra pieces and rules on how to brush your hair. It's too much. I have the Felicia brush and I for sure dont have to brush my hair vertically or need a clip to keep my brush stable. The brush is designed that way so that it moves with your hair to reduces tension and hair breakage during the detangling process. If the EZ detangling brush instructs you to brush vertically then it literally defeats the point of the brush being designed like the Felicia brush.
