Every time I hear I get so emotional... so weird how we get attached to fictional characters... knowing what they have to go through, what they HAVE been through... what happens... makes this all the bit better. It reminds me of when I played MOTD the first few times, I thought nothing of the game, just a zombie killing game... I was wrong... I was so wrong. It's a story, and an adventure. It has a purpose, not just a pointless game lost in the dark.
I literally feel the same way. The first map I ever played was KDT and, as we all know, there wasn't much in the map except that it was great for high rounds. And so I kept playing new zombies maps with and on my cousins' PS3 since I didn't own a single COD game except MW2. But then I played Origins and I felt like something changed. It was then that I started understanding what basically happened in WaW, BO1 and BO2. So I started playing zombies without them. I was such a noob and coward during that time because I can't do EEs on Solo and I always tried doing EEs in public matches. But then Bo3 came and ever since then, I have started playing with a friend I met randomly in a public match and together we beat most of the EEs of the BO3 season (excluding ZC). I can't forget the times I enjoyed playing with him. And now I'm in a Zombies only group that helps each other on completing EEs whether it's BO3 or 4.
I nearly cried. 9 years worth of memories branded into my mind for as long as they’ll stay there. Aether story deserves an Oscar (most of it anyway). No movie or book could ever out do it, the way a video game has done. As sad as I am to see it end (that could of been done so much better treyarch) nothing good last for ever. I really hope one day when companies aren’t blinded by $$$ that they will see the impact that a game can make on a community. I think I’ll leave with aether...

Steel Scorpion I’m with you on that story bit, even being like 13 or whatever at the time, just seeing it with the family, they got me in my feels like I had toy story toys, pillows and stuff when I was real little and as I was growing up my brother put it on like every night to help him fall asleep and we shared the same room so it was just crazy to see them like come close to basically killing buzz and woody, that’s like killing my childhood.
This cutscene had shaken me to my core. The most painful part of it for me was watching nikoli getting torn apart by the zombies. He was my favorite character out of the four, he was the the kind of man to fight for the glory of Russia no matter what odds are against him. So seeing him get torn up like that was just… Heartbreaking

Blood of The Dead had many issues because Mob of The Dead was an OG map to us. While Blood on the other hand, has different slight of changes. They took Afterlife Mode away like in Mob of The Dead. The Spectral Shield is also considered as the Afterlife Shield, even tho you spirit blast it. They added the Catwalk and the Recreation Yard where the spawn room of Mob of The Dead is located. Which is pretty dangerous. The boss fight looks cramped and small. It would be better if the boss fight is on the Golden Gate Bridge. That's few things I hate about Blood.
@@ralphlorenzperolino3054 they forgot the bridge, the fucking Golden Gate Bridge that was one of the reason why people loved the map at least from what I've heard. Cause it was so cool with the whole plane animation and the creepy erry feeling of not being able to escape even when yiu got to the bridge. Imo they should've had the boss fight be there
@@OpticHamster69 I fucking agree with you, the bridge served as the highlight of Mob of The Dead, and the boss fight of Blood looks kinda cramped and small. This served as the boss fight for Blood, not that area behind Richtofen's lab. Disappointed that Treyarch removed the bridge, that's because Weasel killed all the 3 mobsters or the 3 mobsters killed Weasel. Mob of The Dead is so unique that many players from all over the world think out of the box that they said it is the best map of all time alongside Der Eisendrache & Origins. Afterlife Mode is gone. Long fucking gone. They served as Quick Revive perks and now you have to activate the power by using spectral shields. I mean what the fuck? Shields are useless in this map. And the map layout looks cool to me, but disappointed about the perk system. BO4 ruined Zombies, that's for sure.
Tank: Thanks doc, I won't forget it Takeo:Richtofen, your hard work will never be forgotten, I am honoured to have fought alongside such a brave warrior Nikolai: I don't have the words to express my gratitude friend, I do hope someday I Will understand what you had went through. I don’t know if I’m the only one who wishes this was a feature, but I wish there was a way to replay the songs once they’re finished on the map, even if you had to do the steps again
Sadly only Alpha Omega let's you replay the song. I wish all maps had this especially ones Elena sings She has the voice of a goddess and a devil all in one
That's the original version.. but 100 times better. This is, by a pretty far margin, the greatest song in zombies history. Thank you for that. I genuinely cried during the trailer..
This map is going to be such an emotional finale to the 10 year story that's been building for the last 4 games. We've finally reached the climax, and we have to ask; where do we go from here? Thank you Treyarch for an amazing series of Black Ops games, this has been such an important part of my and many other people's childhoods. EDIT: Y'all, I made this comment around the time the game first released. I know it's not the finale, I've seen the ending, I know this comment hasn't aged well. You dont have to keep telling me that.
"Are you scared Al? You should be. If they don't already suspect you they will soon. And then what? What will you do when the truths revealed, when your whole house of cards comes tumbling down. Will you confess, or will you run? Where will you run Albert? All around the mulberry bush? There's nowhere to run...nowhere to hide...you know there's only one way this is gonna end Al. Poor...poor...Weasel. "
Once you realise that the cycle is broken and only the origional Dempsey and Richtofen and Takeo died since the Primis crew didn't go to Gorod. We may have some new members along with drunk Nickoali.
The cycle was broken, There is no cycle. They have one chance to do this or they'll lose everything. Hence why Brutus is doing everything he can to take the blood from them
This song is so beautiful, it always reminds me of the good times I had playing split-screen on Black Ops 2 with my friends. I always cry because of the nostalgia, I'm so glad that zombies became a thing

You know honestly I’ve been replaying bo4 and sure voyage and alpha omega are kinda dog but other than that everything else is pretty good (yes even dotd try it before you judge)
@Tempura-Stargazer Actually, imo BO4 maps are the most detailed maps, and the secrets are more difficult than the previous ones. And I like BO4 for this reason too. And Blood of the Dead is a good map, not than Mob but it still a good map. The fact that everyone has to compare everything with BO2 is the reason they can’t appreciate the games.
I can just imagine this playing while you're in the final area. This song is powerful. Who could be so evil to dislike such a great song? They must've been those who had died from the Warden himself. I can feel the ending of the song when Richtofen dies. It's strange how I think parts of the song lead to parts of the stage. This makes us feel about the fictional characters, and how they feel. The characters are stuck in this so called "Hell." For me, it's about school. If I still graduate, the cycle of "Hell" still continues. But if I finally die, this cycle will be broken for me. This was the weirdest comment I had ever posted. I never knew this would make a big fat English essay. But that was just how I felt about this sad song. If I die, please play this at my funeral. Thank you, und goodbye.
Man, jack does not get the credit he deserves, all these fools thinking this is a kevin song pissing me off cause they are too stupid to read the description or even the full title
This holds a special place in my heart for the simple fact of, me and my friend played this map for god hours everyday, we absolutely loved it, and well unfortunately one night he wasn't online, and he sent me this song, I think as a message, cause that night he passed away, and I listen to this everyday in his honour, and today is that anniversary, God I miss u brother, and I'd do anything to have one more game with him on that map
This isn’t just a song. I can relate so much to so many of these words. I feel like this song really helps show my emotions of course part of it is just Zombies related but it kinda just helps to hear this song especially in the depressed state I’m in. I hope they make epic trailers with songs like this more
ksherwoodops Great? More like amazing! I never thought the original could be beat but I was blown away when I heard his in game and the trailer. They really outdid themselves with this one
Mother of... this beautiful remaster of this song. Sends goosebumps every time. Kevin, Malukah and the rest of the team made a beautiful rendition just as emotional as the tragic characters journey through hell and back. Good work team!
You ever think about how in Mob, 3 people had to die so 1 could escape, breaking the cycle. But in Blood 1 person had to die so the other 3 could escape, breaking the cycle.
I can't listen to this song without tearing up, even if its in-game amongst guns blazing, zombies screaming nor explosions booming; It just...hits hard.
I'm not even 15, this was a part of my childhood... "And you won't even remember..." Forever, will the Aether storyline remain in the back of my mind, all the way from Kino, to now. Element 115, Keepers, Group 935, and so many more parts of Aether, just slipping into a small thought never to be heard aloud, all the characters, their personalities, their will was once to fight, but now, I hope they are now never forgotten, these were the best eight years in, and out of the community, and I'm glad I stayed for the end.
whenever I listen to this version or the original "where are we going" it gives me chills and makes me feel extremely nostalgic, such beautiful songs that remain iconic in the zombies community. Now that the 10 year story has come to an end the memories of zombies will remain with me forever, and this music will always help me remember when zombies was thriving back in 2013 in the time of black ops 2. Thank you so much Kevin, Malukah, Elena and to anybody else associated in the music and theme department that made zombies so iconic, you have created such passion, emoition and feel to these songs as well as zombies in general. Thank you to everyone associated with such an amazing and memorable experience that is call of duty zombies.
I'm listening to this cause my friend told me to hear it. I've never played any of the Call Of Duty games but this makes me emotional for some reason. It's so well put together I love it, I'm so glad my friend told me about this. He sent me the video as well and i might look into COD sometime soon cause of this-
“Need for survival is clear We persevere without an end Into forever we fall And wander on and on and on” As someone with depressive tendencies who’s terrified of the future, those lines hits me hard.
I didn’t like this version when I first heard it. - It’s now one of my all-time favorites. It’s tragic, angelic, spiritual, ethereal, spectral, dark, cold, warm, confusingly awful and awesome at the same time.
God tier song. Better than the original IMO, this version has actually gotten me to cry, when thinking about how long the characters have been fighting, and how many times they've died... and how they just want to break free. "Dust of a thousand years" it just makes me realize how long they've lived... how long they've fought, how long they've tried, and how many years that all equates to... for us it was 10-13 or so years... for them, it's been damn near thousands, maybe even millions. And now they are finally nearing their end. Finally nearing being able to be with their families again, most likely. It's so beautiful, I fucking LOVE IT!
The EE song "Where are we going" can also be an Allegory to US the players lives. Some of us are lost after years of repeating the same work schedule to the point you sometimes have to ask "Where am I going" when it comes to the future and most of us are "Blinded by fear" and its why we feel trapped because were too scared to try something new whether thats finding a new job or trying to fight for a dream you long for or simple human fears. "Do we let go of all we know" is the fear of letting go of the past that might have affected us as a person or being stuck in the past. "Where do we go when we let go" sometimes that reminds me
This reminds me of playing mob with my little brother when we were younger and I miss those days. I really fucking miss the days we would keep dying and starting again. It would help us escape from life for a bit

Steel Scorpion I’m with you on that story bit, even being like 13 or whatever at the time, just seeing it with the family, they got me in my feels like I had toy story toys, pillows and stuff when I was real little and as I was growing up my brother put it on like every night to help him fall asleep and we shared the same room so it was just crazy to see them like come close to basically killing buzz and woody, that’s like killing my childhood.
this music and the trailer really show and put into perspective just how tired the characters are of fighting, the trailer was beautiful.
Even more heartbreaking when he surrenders dispite his many lines that say he won't being trapped with death not being an escape "I've seen meny people broken in gulag and death was mercy for them now with no death as an escape I fear what men can become."

Amazing remaster of the song.
Shame the map wasn't treated with the same amount of love.

Basically, I want this song played at my funeral.
"Where do we go when we let go" sometimes that reminds me
I don't think the song is about being too scared to quit your job, luhmao.
How does one let go of the past that made them who they are now
This reminds me of playing mob with my little brother when we were younger and I miss those days. I really fucking miss the days we would keep dying and starting again. It would help us escape from life for a bit
