Price action describes the characteristics of a security’s price movements. This movement is quite often analyzed with respect to price changes in the recent past. In simple terms, price action is a trading technique that allows a trader to read the market and make subjective trading decisions based on the recent and actual price movements, rather than relying solely on technical indicators.
The only people who know where the market is heading are institutions. They are the ones who make the market move and our job as retail traders is to follow their footsteps and get the piece of their movement. As price action traders we need to find the most profitable ways to enter trades. The highest probability setups are 2nd entries, its variations and confirmations setups at the key entry points.

Hi Thomas, why are you not complaining about the LH that formed after the F2EL in the beginning of the day. It was 10 minutes after the market opened, so actually a high probability setup right?

Any good books for Price Action?
I've got a question regarding the forming of a new extreme
So, from my understanding of PATS manual, after the break of the trendline price will look to form an Extreme.
My question: do we expect this new extreme to be a high high or a lower high in the case of the break of the uptrend line? And vice versa for a downtrend line break, should the new EXTREME be a lower low or a higher low?
In uptrend the new high means A High that is Higher than the last highest high inside of the channel, prior to break.
In downtrend the new low means A Low that is lower than the last lowest low inside of the channel prior to break.
So new extreme should be the highest high of the entire move or lowest low of the entire move.
Anything else is considered retest attempt.
Hi sir, I am from India, I have recently subscribed your channel and I have found your videos very much useful, please suggest me which time frame chart would be appropriate for Indian Indices i.e. Nifty and Bank Nifty
If you cant use tick charts, try 1-5 min charts.
is it possible to use this strategy on forex pairs like xauusd? or is there any pair you suggest applying this strategy to?
It works in forex too. 1-5 min charts but personally I am not a fan of forex. There are better options.
