Covington High School Spring Game: Warren Easton at Covington

Covington hosted New Orleans area power Warren Easton on Monday, May 13.
The Lions held their own as their defense, led by cornerback Jeremie Elzy, gave Easton a run for its money. However, quarterback Carl Reed Jr. got comfortable and led two touchdown drives late in the spring game, one of which was a deep touchdown pass to wide receiver Mark Garrison.
Near the end of the video, Rougarou Sports Media founder Grant Chachere interviews Warren Easton head coach jerry Phillips and Covington head coach Greg Salter.
