    Your story made me laugh and cry. You saw humor in a tragedy. You showed us a person that many might have considered a low-life or something far worse was a real person who deserved better than dying the way he did. Andrew mattered. He had a family who loved him and I'm sure he loved them. Unfortunately, Andrew had to live a lie. That's a tragedy in itself. It's sad his final minutes were the way they were. Hopefully they were at least quick. You took such an horrible event and found the humor in it. You make jokes about how he died but by the end, you show what kind of person you truly are. You have a wonderful sense of humor but your heart far out weighs your humor. Your kindness & compassion for a Andrew & family you didn't know is touching. When you asked if you could move the car, that said more about you as a person than anything else you said before that moment. You could have made that Andrew into a piece of trash who died in a porn store but you chose to find out his name, address and much more about him. You made him into a human being who just ended up in a bad situation because of having to live a lie. It's sad that so many people can't be the person they really are or live the life they want. Thank you for sharing Andrew story.
    I hope to hear much more from you. You're incredibly talented! We need more stories like yours out in the world. We need more laughter and joy. I wish there were more people like you in the world. Thank God for people like you. Take care!

      @@aquariusangel816 Firstly, she never even checked the man's vitals (or claimed to have); Which is terribly irresponsible. Second, responsible people know CPR and will apply it to anyone who is in need after verifying that they need it. Third, if she didn't drink on the job or joke around with the 911 operator, then she might have been able to save his life. If her whole comedy routine is: "I'm a terribly irresponsible person who thinks other people dying is funny.", then I think there is a very limited amount of people who would enjoy that comedy. Assuming that people down vote because she is a woman is absurd.

    • @azarinevil
      @azarinevil 5 років тому +8

      I find this funny first off but here are why most people see this as offensive..
      She is joking about how she robbed a dead closeted married gay man and generally handled the situation with the respect you'd expect of a drunk on the job employee. I thouhht she told the story well, but it doesn't change the fact she was basically admitting to one of the most awful things we can only hope she's done.

    • @teknon0tice
      @teknon0tice 5 років тому +14

      Damn this is decisive, I stand by what I said. I think it’s a well told story. Wether or not it’s all true, I never felt like I was laughing at that guys expense. No one endorses the stealing, but non the less she makes jokes off her own moral flaws (like pretty much every good comedian does). And she left a very poignant lasting impression about honesty and happiness. Sex and death can be uncomfortable subjects anyway, but they don’t need to be, and that feel like part of the story’s point.

    This happens often in the Gay Bathhouses also.
    People that are “partying” in drugs and are having problems “getting it up” will take viagra. Viagra does not play well with nitrates (what she called Rush, general term poppers).
    It creates a big drop in blood pressure that results in death if not careful, and it happens fast.

      @Sinful_Josh 4 роки тому +1

      @@tracyavent-costanza346 In most places Amyl is no longer legal OTC, I think there are a few countries that still allow it. This resulted in the formula's for these "video head cleaners" to consist of: Pentyl nitrite, Butyl nitrite, Isobutyl nitrite, Isopropyl nitrite, and im sure theres new ones.
      The adverse health and safety results from countries waging a public war against what is considered among the less harmful of recreational drugs, is that as the companies that maintained a standard with their products ended up out of business, and shady copycats that tried to pass themselves off as the old companies were selling products that were WAY more dangerous. Lying about the contents, poor quality of chemicals used, and lots more.
      I live in Texas and started going to and working at gay bars in 2000 (turned 18) and became immersed in the scenes around me. Somethings I have partaken in, and others I have passed on them but still learned as much as i could about what was so prevalent around me. I can say poppers were easily available at sex shops/leather shops/adult video stores/bath houses and there was no shame buying them. Up until just about 10 years ago when you could not guarantee that you were getting what you were buying, and it would often be bad quality or fake.
      Fun Fact: If you watch the tv show Claws, there is an episode in the early seasons where Uncle Daddy and his wife are at their strip club and she uses poppers. (opens a small bottle and inhales fumes and rides the rush of it).

    Yeah, Viagra + amyl nitrate... probably the only way amyl nitrate could hurt you, really. Viagra causes your blood pressure to go really high, and amyl nitrate causes it to go really low (just super briefly). And while it's certainly huge in the gay scene, it's not really just exclusively used by them, anyone can use it. Medically, it causes momentary relaxation of a special kind of muscle called smooth muscle. Smooth muscle is only a few places in the body. One is your heart (which is why it causes blood pressure drop), another is your anal sphincter. There are some others, but those are the biggies. The blood pressure drop and such also causes a head rush, makes your face feel really hot, etc. It's legal, although not legal to actually sell it for human consumption. So it's often sold as "VCR head cleaner" and stuff like that. It's sold in small bottles and to use it you just smell it. I've researched it pretty well and I honestly couldn't find anything significant in terms of dangers, which really surprised me. Most inhalable stuff like that is utter poison for your brain, but amyl nitrate doesn't seem to do anything bad. Certainly wouldn't mix it with Viagra or mess with it if you have blood pressure problems in general I suppose, but otherwise it's one of the safer things out there. Oh, and the rush it gives only lasts for like 30 seconds max. Usually less.

      Actually viagra causes vaso-dialation. Meaning it causes your blood vessels to relax which leads to low pressure. Amyl nitrate does the same. Patients with angina take nitro for chest pain. It also causes vaso-dialation. So taking two drugs that lower your blood presssure is a recipe for disaster.

    Yep, what is with those 911 dispatchers anyway? I had to drop my daughter's boyfriend off late one evening and drove by a local restaurant and there was a lot of smoke or steam rolling out the back. The first time I went buy I figured they were steaming out their hood (summer holiday weekend). When I drove by on the way home I pulled into their parking lot and looked a little harder, no it was on fire. I called 911 and told them the restaurant was on fire, they started questioning me "What makes yo think it's on fire?" "How do you know?" I must of answered okay because their response was "Okay we'll see if we can get someone out there". I hung out until that someone showed up, a volunteer firefighter in his pick up truck with no turn out gear, before he was there 30 seconds he had radioed back in to 911 and requested his full department respond and aid from three surrounding departments. They were still on the scene when we got out of church the next morning. I got my prevenge, I was the county's facilities director and about a week later the 911 center called in because the sink in their break room was plugged. so I asked "Are you sure it's plugged" "How do you know?" "What makes you qualified to determine that, are you a plumber"

    This kind of made me feel...a way. Like the human side of it was so beautiful but the porn clerk side was all the way dark. I loved both. So now I'm both sad but also uplifted and straight like...life is too short. 😂 wtf even

    I like this, it reminded me that we are all human. Sometimes in the midst of chaos I lose sight of that.

    This goes to show you never know what goes on in another person’s life. In spite of her surroundings and working in a pretty sketchy business, she is a very caring human.

    I would love to see more of this woman’s comedy. Very touching and funny, sad and meaningful, but most of all...real

    For such a dark, messed up story, she really brought it home with a touching moral at the end. Loved it!

    This a good stand up piece, nice to see a female comic doing a stand up bit about adult stuff and not being all about themselves trying to gross out the audience. It seems like it's rare to see.

    I can tell you with a hundred percent certainty I wouldn't take a dead person's money. That's a good way to need therapy for years.

    When it blacked out at the end and she was saying that you just need to be you and stuff and i was like, oh emotional ending but then the screen came back on and just killed the vide, good video none the less.

    Porn Store Angel has an iffy ring to it, but I think it applies.
    Thank you, Kristine, for sharing this story.

    This was some ladies trauma story. You can always tell because they recount every single detail, painfully, and listening to it feels like taking a very long painful shit. But it just shows that inspite of the comedy she does actually have a heart
