@@camthewolfgamer8632 It actually wasn't! The writers were planning on a Season 3 even as they were making this one. Season 2 was originally going to end on a cliffhanger reveal that the Overlord was still alive, but they decided not to do that _just in case_ a third season wasn't greenlit.

im glad i grew up with this and not the modern day stuff 🔥
recently rewatched it all, and its a masterpiece 🙏
The modern stuff is good though (at least S8 - S10, i haven't seen much of the seasons that came afterwards)
I noticed how similar the finale of season 2 was to Ghostbusters, with the Overlord possessed Garmadon looking vaguely like Zuul, the ninja all climbing a tower, and parts of this theme sounding kind of like Ghostbusters.
It makes me feel like I am in Ninjago doing the same thing.
