Love your videos. I know that scroll saw work is your focus, but in this case it seems like cutting one board out and then using a router with a flush trim bit to cut the other two might have been a better route. Thanks again for the great content!
Thank you. Yes there are other and sometimes better ways to do something like this. I have cut multiple parts with a trim bit on many projects. Like you said I am focusing on the scroll saw here, I like cutting multiple layers at once so they will be an exact match... that is if it cuts true. I pushed my luck on this one with thickness and density of material. The outside cut was almost perfect, but not the drawer cuts as I could not find a good replacement for the blade I started with.
Each one was 3/4 inch minus a few plane strokes and some sanding. Total thickness was just short of 2 1/4 thickness. That is about the max that I usually try to cut.
Love watching your videos, learning a lot. Excellent workmanship, craftsmanship
Thank you very much!

Just curious of how much Beech have you cut with the scroll saw? I find it one of the most difficult to cut. Thanks for sharing
I have cut a little Beech. It is difficult, to me Beech and Ash are both the most difficult.
Tom the 3 woods what was the thickness of each boards, great job though
