Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan waqina 'adhaban-nar- Very Powerful Dua {Daily Zikr}

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا اتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الاخِرَةِ حَسَنَــةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّار
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil 'akhirati hasanatan waqina 'adhaban-nar
(O Allah, our Lord! Give us that which is good in this life, that which is good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the Fire.)
This Dua is one of the most comprehensive supplications; rather, this is the most comprehensive supplication because it covers every matter in Dunya and hereafter.
Imam Ahmad narrated that Anas said,
The Messenger of Allah visited a Muslim man who had become as weak as a sick small bird.
The Prophet said to him whether he is asking or supplicating to his Lord about Something.
The Muslim man said he used to say:
O Allah! Whatever punishment you saved for me in the Hereafter, give it to me in this life.
Then the prophet said:
All praise is due to Allah! You cannot bear it or stand it.
You should have said:
رَبَّنَا اتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!
The man began reciting this Dua and he was cured.
This power in this supplication is that it is said to be like an all inclusive vacation, it’s open ended and asks Allah for anything you could have in your mind.
Let’s follow the advice of our beloved Prophet (SAW) and may Allah give us ease and guidance to perform our ibaadah and forgive our sins.
