Hi, Herbert, love the video as usual, been a while since I watched one, however, about the doorway height, its worth noting you need to add in the extra height the models base adds in, it would still be a bit short of a door, but its not that bad in height, especially if its an old french house, some doors in France are super short!
looks good, personally I'd like to see this in a normandy or italy setting.. but the gaps.. they're rather bad, easy to fix, but they shouldnt be that bad in the first place.. anyway, im sure it'll paint up well..
Too bad that this building is an old 1/72 scale model which they "recycled" for Bolt Action.... Google for: 6113 - WWII: BASTOGNE December 1944 (diorama set) to check for yourself. I was pretty pissed that they put this 1/72 scale model in my Bolt Action Starter Package.
Thankfully its not too bad an issue, alot of houses in france have -very- small doorways, because of their age, some a person today has to bend down to get through!
TheBod76 Are there any other reboxed Italeri kits ? Asking as im gathering stuff for a 170x170cms diorama. I have noticed there is a bunker/accessory/bridge/anti tank entrenchments with the Italeri brand too.
Herbert I know this does not relate to your video but I need some advice, I have been thinking about making my channel a wargaming channel and stuff like that, I just dont know how I should start it. Any advice?
My advice is worth what you paid for it, but I would say just do it. Start making wargaming related videos. Decide what you want to do, like reviews or painting or battle reports (or all of them) and just start doing it. Some people already subscribed might not like it or understand, but it's your channel.
you should make a little sign out front of it that says home sweet home.
I like that idea.
Good luck with painting the model, future Herbert. Great video!
I like to use the back of the knife for mold line removal so the blade doesn't get dulled.
That's a good option. I always found it somehow less comfortable to do. Blades are cheap enough anyway.

Its a 1/72 scale that was made for the Bastogne Italery diorama...
People who sell 1/72 as 1/56 are not the nicest people in the world, aren't they?

Yeah, it was in my starter set, too. I wish I had the to-scale cottage instead.

Warlord Games routinely advertises/sells 1/72nd scale terrain pieces in their Bolt Action line. Caveat Emptor.
@@StalkeraBg the Warlord Stone Walls is also a re-boxed older Italeri 1/72 set and not really 28mm
