This foundation is BEAUTIFUL!! It’s now my HG for sure. I used to love Nars LRF but Mac Studio Radiance is even better. It literally becomes one with my skin. It is very comfortable to wear and lasts all day. Plus, you can sheer it out or apply a bit more for fuller coverage. Truly a winner!
Darling, if you think 35 is bad wait till you hit my number, 55! Wrinkles and pores get even worse but that’s life! You are absolutely lovely and I have wanted to try this foundation. I've been using this foundation for 1 week now and I absolutely love it. I've been using a brush to apply followed by tapping with a sponge. Wears beautifully, doesn't settle in my lines or wrinkles, and looks just like my skin but better. I am 54 years old with combination dry skin. I also bought a shade lighter to use as a concealer because they usually make my under eye area look like crap.....this worked fabulously!

I went to Ulta to purchase the new Smashbox foundation but saw this tried it in store and felt it was more moisturizing to my normal to dry skin! I LOVE IT! It gives me a real skin look when I use the moist blender as Mallory recommends. Plus, for me, it lasts all day!
MALLORY 🤩 Thank you for using the FaceMaster 😍🙌🏻 Love your complexion videos so much! And yes the difference is very noticeable I’ll be like that with almost every product when you use my brush cause the FaceMaster doesn’t absorb the product as the sponge does so the sponge side wil always look more “glowy” and traslucent as it absorbes and thin out the product a little. I wanted that way cause mostly in Brides and clients the blurred soft effect the FaceMaster gives is what I looked for and I actually feel that the whole application last a lot longer and wears very well during the hours. Ive tested with lots of products and different skin types and she always gives me the “filter looking finish” and when people see their reflexión on the mirror they always surprised of how their skink looks so flawless 🤩 and when the ask what foundation did I used I always tell them is the brush that makes the difference 🙌🏻 even with my favorite drugstore one the Revlon Colorstay the finish it’s stunning and velvety. Oh and if you want the same glow effect as the sponge with the FaceMaster you just need to use like half of the product you used and it will look glowy and skin like. It’s just matter of adjusting the quantities but yes looks very different both beautiful as you 💕 tons of love for you. I always wait for your videos is so exiting to watch such a detailed review.
Ahhhhh!!!! I dropped everything to watch this Mallory!! I wanted to know your opinion on this before I bought it. I am going to get it this weekend 4 sure! I laughed when you applied the powder to your under eyes, because immediately you lost the highlight the concealer gave you. I knew immediately it was going back…I am so glad they have a translucent for you! Anyway, as someone on disability I have to watch my spending carefully, and I feel confident I can make this purchase. I grabbed the newest Revlon foundation because of your review, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot wait to try this, as someone drier than the driest piece of parchment paper, I am looking forward to a new hydrating coverage product! Enjoy your weekend!!!❤❤❤

I’m assuming the foundation is light/medium buildable coverage.
I’m usually nc12 but had to get nc10 because 12 was too dark. But I absolutely love this foundation. I am combo/oily and I don’t have to set this and it lasts all day.
Double your age and completely agree with you. I used fingers and kept the glow. Normally NW 20 but had to go down to NW 10 in this one. Needless to say I have my share of fine lines and wrinkles and this foundation blurs them. It’s fabulous. Great review, Mallory.

I’ll probably pick up a sample. It looks nice! Seems to have some staying power. If you pick up the translucent, I would sure like to see that you’re right about the color of the light it’s a little too dark.

The shades are deeper than the other Mac Foundations i think mine oxidized a little rosy NW11 and the NC´s are too yellow my dry skin looks after hours not so great but i definetily will use a sponge. I thought it is similar to my oldest satin Mac Foundation. Happy Birthday!

I like the studio radiance foundation, but not as much as the prolongwear nourishing in the tube. At my Mac boutique they tried to tell me the pen was a replacement for prolongwear but I disagree. That pen makes me itch and the one in the tube does not. When I found out they were going to discontinue the one in the tube I bought as many colors in my range as I could. My thought is to mix them to get the correct color I need for every season. I can go between NC 20 to NC 38.

Yes! Application looks very different on both sides. Brush seems to look more flawless from this perspective.
And in real life too I can assure you that 🙌🏻 the brush gives a blurred effect and make everything stay perfect longer I’ve tried with many foundations and it’s always same when compare to sponge
Hi Mallory - Happy Birthday, Beautiful! ❤ Do you feel like the powder was finely milled? I’m 51 and have normal to dry feeling skin. I love MAC products. We are shade twins. 😊 I’m going to pick up the Studio Radiance foundation. If the powder is finely milled, I am going to go grab it.
They look sooo differently on each side, but from my view the brush side looks more matte but not in a bad way like in a blurring smooth way! Love the channel❤

I have a little problem with Mäc‘s virtual try-on tool. There are a few options from NW15, NW20 and NC37. Not so easy to choose the right one.

I would think the more apt comparison would be between the Studio Radiance Face & Body (sheer, radiant) and not the Studio Fix (full coverage, matte). Could you compare those if you are familiar with it?
That NC 14.5 oxidized before our eyes! It was lighter than the 15 and then dried down darker! Crazy.
That’s what happened to me with Estée Lauder! I filmed outdoors and upon reviewing I was really unhappy! Looking for another foundation for 65+ skin
Looks completely different on both sides!! If I get this I’ll use the brush since I’m mega oily. 😊

Question, at the start, your eyes were matte. When you returned from your workout, you had the most gorgeous sparkle on the lids. I can't find what you used for that sparkle.....👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

I’m telling you, when you are nearing 40, you will discover your true makeup artistry😊. Bc of texture, you can’t bake, and you cannot use a lot of layers. I only use a tinted moisturiser with a little concealer. Heavy foundation with a ton of powder makes textured skin look really bad😊

Mallory I'm pretty sure they repackaged (and raised the price of) the pro wear nourishing waterproof foundation as the new studio fix every wear all over face pen. Somebody on Reddit mentioned they were the same and I compared the ingredients list and they look almost exactly the same! I was really sad that they discontinued the foundation, then excited I could get the formula in the pen, then angry at how much they raised the price. I think it's about double the price per mL now!
I’m not so sure the pen is the same as the prolongwear foundation. They said that to me at my Mac boutique also. The pen formula makes me itch, but not the prolongwear in the tube. So angry they discontinued it. I bought as many colors in my range as possible. The thought is I can mix and match them to get the right color for my skin, depending on the season.
The ingredients list looks the same! From what I recall one of the silicones was in a different order in the list, but otherwise it looked almost exactly the same. I haven't tried the pen so I don't know what it's like, I was too angry about the price doubling

I found the pen to be totally different to the Pro long wear which was my go to foundation for years. I'm glad I got a sample of the pen cause I definitely won't be purchasing it. Being a combo of foundation & concealer I found it looked dry and quite powdery. The Pro Long Wear gave me a soft, healthy glow; the pen definitely did not. I brought 4 tubes of the Pro Long Wear while I could. Devastated that they have discontinued it.
The powder does blur but I can't wear it under my eyes because it is too dry looking.....it just looks super makeupy on undereyes

You know what reaaally gets me… it shows transfer resistant on the packaging, yettt it’ll wipe off as if it is a cream, and cream would probably be less transfer resistant because that’s just how transferring it is. Why believe any of the claims about it helping to improve skin barrier, when that alone is the most blatantly obvious false claim.

Used this foundation and my skin did not agree with it. Used a setting powder, and still found that the foundation would come off extremely easily, and separated all over my nose, and throughout the day it shown to just look more cakey, and settled apart where the fine lines under my eyes and n around my mouth are. Over all not happy with this one. My skin is a bit mature as well, and I used the cream to prime my skin that should’ve worked really “well” together.
Your left looks to me to be a bit more textured and your right more smooth. 🤷🏻♀
