Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse in Mexico. This year they are touring the US and Europe, opening for Muse five times in the UK and France (next month) and headlining in Berlin and Spain among others. They also have two shows planned in Mexico for the Fall. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single already performed live releases officially May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.
I am impressed! 😮 I didn't expect to feel the goosebumps that I just did. The young drummer in the video 🥁 is remarkable, considering all the tasks she has to remember. She also provides excellent backup vocals 🎤 for one of the greatest songs ever 🎶. My fellow Pentaholic! Welcome to my favorite rock band. I’ve seen PTX ten times and they just get better- but The Warning I’ve seen only one last year and one of the been I’ve been to!
If you want your mind blown watch them perform a song called Dust to Dust live at Lunario. It is a live performance in 2018 or 2019 and the drummer sings lead. She sings lead or co-lead in about 20% of their songs. Always watch live performances - they are out of this world live. I saw 4 concerts last year and they were incredible each time. They have some new videos from a newer concert they did in Mexico City recently. It is the Teatro Metropolitan . Look for those videos. By the way the shortest member is the drummer, Paulina, and the tallest is Alejandra and she is the bassist. The lead singer is Daniella and she is in the middle when it comes to height. She is the oldest and Alejandra is the youngest - she just turned 18. She was 9 in the video you just watched and Paulina was 12 and Daniella was 14. They have been doing this seriously for 9 years and they are still so young.

If you think this was good, you should see them now. Absolutely incredible. I hadn't been to a live concert since early 2000s. I saw them 3 times last year and will see them next week in Atlanta. I suggest specifically all of the Teatro Metropolitan live versions (Animosity, their own version of Enter Sandman that they did at Metallica's invitation for the Blacklist Album, Disciple, Martirio, Choke, and Money). They are better than the studio versions. Disciple has a lot of lead singing by Pau; Enter Sandman has extensive vocal harmonies. Fun fact: when they reacted to this version of the song, Dany said "work that wah pedal, girl!" at the exact moment you said that. That version is very good, and they have continued to work if anything harder. The bassist is now the tallest.

Great 1st time reaction to The Warning Dennis! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their North American MAYDAY TOUR and ERROR WORLD TOUR. Who knew this trio of Mexican sisters, all born in the 21st century would inspire me to buy my first concert tickets in decades. Yes, The Warning already has a large catalog of original music: 3 full length studio albums and 1(technically 2) EPs, Escape The Mind and Mayday (6 songs from their most recent album ERROR). As great as their covers are, their original music is phenomenal and they actually have a brand new single called More that officially comes out tomorrow. Once I was warned a couple years ago, The Warning immediately became my favorite band, and they are not just musical geniuses but also wonderful people that genuinely love their fans like family. Believe it or not, the little one on the bass (Ale) is now the tallest in the band! This was recorded when they were 14 (Dany the guitar player), 12 (Pau the drummer), and 9 (Ale the bass player)
Hi Dennis, I'm glad you liked my suggestion. The "little one", Alejandra, has been defined by her sisters as a human metronome because she is always on time during playing. They normally use earpieces with a clicktrack, but in case of malfunction they immediately refer to Ale for keeping time. You surely will be swamped with messages from the fan base, The Warning Army. You got the guitarist/lead singer right but the bassist is now the tallest one of them (the middle one in that recent pic) and the drummer is the one on the left.
For this video they were 14, 12 and 9. The video was uploaded because the file was too big to directly email to their grandparents. They wanted to show their progress on their second instruments. All 3 already played piano by then and most of their songs still begin on the piano where the drummer generally begins the writing process and then they get together to flesh it out and add their rock instruments.
Welcome to the wonderful world of The Waning! While they have almost 50 original songs to their credit already, may I suggest trying to version they did with Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album in 2021. Disciple is a song I hope you check out. It really showcases all three ladies. A song with a message, Ale's killer bass line, The harmonies of all three, The duet between Dany and Pau, the great fills on the drums and the melodic guitar riffs. The negative remarks were mostly that the vocals were not like Metallica's or they didn't sound as hard like Metallica. Well, yeah, they don't sound exactly like Metallica because they are little girls. There were a lot of crazy comments that were not favorable, but it's like that. My fellow Pentaholic! Welcome to my favorite rock band. I’ve seen PTX ten times and they just get better- but The Warning I’ve seen only one last year and one of the been I’ve been to!
If you want your mind blown watch them perform a song called Dust to Dust live at Lunario. It is a live performance in 2018 or 2019 and the drummer sings lead. She sings lead or co-lead in about 20% of their songs. Always watch live performances - they are out of this world live. I saw 4 concerts last year and they were incredible each time. They have some new videos from a newer concert they did in Mexico City recently. It is the Teatro Metropolitan . Look for those videos.
By the way the shortest member is the drummer, Paulina, and the tallest is Alejandra and she is the bassist. The lead singer is Daniella and she is in the middle when it comes to height. She is the oldest and Alejandra is the youngest - she just turned 18. She was 9 in the video you just watched and Paulina was 12 and Daniella was 14. They have been doing this seriously for 9 years and they are still so young.
so much to tell you about this, I strongly suggest you check out their new revamped arrangement of Enter Sandman, the official music video, which they did in partnership with Alessia Cara (canadian R&B/Pop superstar) on some of the vocals, since they are on the same label (Lava Records). The most amazing part is you get to see their heights now.. and you can see the bassist's change from tiny little child to ThunderWoman, the bassist we all love and admire so much now.
Check their tour schedule for a show near you. It would be very sad if they are playing near you in the next few weeks and you miss it. Their live shows are absolutely amazing. While they have three albums worth of their own material and don't play covers at their shows, they still perform their own special version of Enter Sandman. Your magical journey is just beginning!

If you think this was good, you should see them now. Absolutely incredible. I hadn't been to a live concert since early 2000s. I saw them 3 times last year and will see them next week in Atlanta. I suggest specifically all of the Teatro Metropolitan live versions (Animosity, their own version of Enter Sandman that they did at Metallica's invitation for the Blacklist Album, Disciple, Martirio, Choke, and Money). They are better than the studio versions.
Disciple has a lot of lead singing by Pau; Enter Sandman has extensive vocal harmonies.
Fun fact: when they reacted to this version of the song, Dany said "work that wah pedal, girl!" at the exact moment you said that. That version is very good, and they have continued to work if anything harder. The bassist is now the tallest.

The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track -

The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their North American MAYDAY TOUR and ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

I’m 64 years old, and like many who will be responding here, I’d lost interest in the current music scene. Who knew this trio of Mexican sisters, all born in the 21st century would inspire me to buy my first concert tickets in decades.
As good as they are at this age, to do them justice you should see what they have become… For comparison, watch their re-imagined version of this song from Teatro Metropolitan show. It was written at the request of Metallica for their Black List album. Arguably the best performance on that album.

Yes, The Warning already has a large catalog of original music: 3 full length studio albums and 1(technically 2) EPs, Escape The Mind and Mayday (6 songs from their most recent album ERROR). As great as their covers are, their original music is phenomenal and they actually have a brand new single called More that officially comes out tomorrow. Once I was warned a couple years ago, The Warning immediately became my favorite band, and they are not just musical geniuses but also wonderful people that genuinely love their fans like family. Hi Dennis, I'm glad you liked my suggestion. The "little one", Alejandra, has been defined by her sisters as a human metronome because she is always on time during playing. They normally use earpieces with a clicktrack, but in case of malfunction they immediately refer to Ale for keeping time.

For this video they were 14, 12 and 9. The video was uploaded because the file was too big to directly email to their grandparents. They wanted to show their progress on their second instruments. All 3 already played piano by then and most of their songs still begin on the piano where the drummer generally begins the writing process and then they get together to flesh it out and add their rock instruments.
This was approximately 8 years ago, when Ale’s bass is bigger than she is. Now, she’s the tallest of the three sisters.

When this video went viral, there were many thumbs down. There were thumbs up, of course. The negative remarks were mostly that the vocals were not like Metallica's or they didn't sound as hard like Metallica. Well, yeah, they don't sound exactly like Metallica because they are little girls. There were a lot of crazy comments that were not favorable, but it's like that.
